This is an opportunity to contribute to a fast‑paced, innovative environment where precision, craftsmanship, and quality are paramount.About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Mould Maker & Laminator Consultant to support the manufacture of complex composite tooling. You'll be part of a specialist team producing moulds and patterns that meet exceptional structural, dimensional, and surface standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacture moulds using approved lay‑up methods, ensuring all components meet strict structural and dimensional criteria.Perform pattern lamination and shuttering, including accurate ply application and the creation of high‑quality flanges.Prepare patterns and inserts through detailed surface finishing, sealing, and precision alignment to defined tolerances.Run controlled mould‑curing cycles, working to specified resin systems and carefully monitored process parameters.De‑mould and extract cured moulds safely while maintaining tooling integrity and surface finish.Deliverables / ExpectationsYou will be expected to complete project tasks in line with client acceptance standards:Delivery of work to agreed timelinesCompletion of the required task volumeAll work meeting the agreed quality benchmarksWhy Join Contechs?Contechs is a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy, established in 1997.     Position Title: Battery Test Engineer Duration: Contract Location: Banbury, OxfordPlease note this role includes shift work, Earlys & Lates, please enquire for more information.*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility, to work full time, and travel within, the UK** Role Overview:Our Client is seeking an experienced Engineer to support Performance End of Line (PEOL) and End of Line (EOL) testing, commissioning, and fault resolution of high-voltage power systems.This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role supporting both prototype and production build phases.The position is primarily focused on executing and supporting PEOL / EOL testing of HV power systems, with additional support to related battery and system-level testing as required.
