📅 Key Race Day Dates:You’ll have the opportunity to work across the season on the following major race days:The Showcase: Friday 24th & Saturday 25th October 2025The November Meeting: Friday 14th – Sunday 16th November 2025The International: Friday 12th & Saturday 13th December 2025New Year’s Day Racing: Thursday 1st January 2026Festival Trials Day: Saturday 24th January 2026The Cheltenham Festival: Tuesday 10th – Friday 13th March 2026 (The biggest event of the season!)The April Meeting: Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th April 2026Race Night featuring Hunter Chase: Friday 1st May 2026Alongside opportunities to work at many conference and events shifts throughout the year.
💼 Role Overview:As part of our bar team, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to guests across a range of venues at Cheltenham Racecourse. You’ll have the chance to work in:Hospitality Bar Service: Upscale bars in restaurants, boxes, and private suites, where you’ll serve premium drinks, wines, mix basic cocktails, and offer a high level of guest interaction.Public Bars: Bustling bars open to all racegoers, where you’ll be pouring pints, serving wine and spirits, handling payments, and keeping up with a fast-paced service style.Your key responsibilities will include:Accurately pouring and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinksProviding friendly, efficient, and professional customer serviceMaintaining a clean and organised bar areaHandling payments and operating tills (where required)Restocking fridges and supplies during and after serviceWorking as part of a larger team to ensure smooth service flowUpholding licensing laws, Challenge 25 policy, and health & safety standards
