    We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior to oversee cost control and commercial management across a range of reactive maintenance, project, and measured-term contracts. The successful candidate will work closely with our contracts and finance teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably, on time, and to the highest standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage commercial building management and project works across multiple sites.

    Oversee works across various disciplines, including building fabric works, civil works, and associated infrastructure projects .

    Lead and coordinate teams of engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

    Ensure full compliance with health and safety, statutory, and contractual

    Requirements.

    Monitor budgets, progress, and performance against KPIs.

    Prepare documentation for client reports and contract reviews.

    Support business development through input on bids and tenders.

    Work with local authority portals and procurement systems (experience desirable).

    Qualifications G Experience

    Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management , or equivalent experience.

    Degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Building Services, Civil

    Engineering, or a related field.

    Degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Building Services, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

    SMSTS or SSSTS certification.

    IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health C

    Safety.

    CSCS Manager's Card (or equivalent).

    Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and construction compliance frameworks.

    Ideally MRICS or working towards chartership.

    Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a commercial or quantity-surveying role within construction, building services, or facilities management.

    Strong understanding of JCT contracts , SPONS pricing , and public-sector procurement.

    Competence in Excel , Word , and estimating or cost-management software.

    Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    Full UK driving licence.

    Full Job Description: Experienced Vehicle Technician

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small, independent used car dealership as an Experienced Vehicle Technician based at our Bransgore premises.     Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    Carry out full vehicle servicing and MOT preparation to the highest standard.
    Perform complex mechanical repairs including full engine rebuilds, timing chains, clutch replacements, and diagnostics.
    Work across a wide range of vehicles, with a particular focus on Land Rovers and other 4x4s.
    Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately.
    Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
    Support the team with technical advice and mentorship where needed.
    Undertake additional duties as required to support the smooth running of the business.

    Essential Criteria:

    Full clean driving licence.
    Extensive experience in the motor trade with a strong background in all aspects of service, MOT work, and major mechanical repairs (e.g., engine rebuilds, timing chains).
    Proven competence in diagnostic work and complex fault-finding.
    Ideally, significant experience working with Land Rovers or from a Land Rover specialist/main dealer background.
    A calm, professional, and positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team.

    Preferred (but not essential):

    Previous main dealer experience - you'll appreciate the difference working with us makes.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: Competitive salary based on experience (to be discussed at interview)

    Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (40 hours per week)

    Schedule:

    Monday to Friday
    No weekends required

    Experience:

    Extensive hands-on experience as a vehicle technician in the motor trade, with proven ability to handle major repairs and diagnostics. Land Rover experience highly desirable.
