Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Leeds based client to recruit a Machine Operator on a temporary to permanent basis. Working in a busy conversion department within a print environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company who can offer stability and progression.
Full training with be given however previous experience in a machine operating role is essential and suitable candidates must be punctual and able to demonstrate a consistent work ethic.
Duties of role: Operating a conversion machine confidently and proficiently
Organising workload in line with the daily print programme, ensuring work is delivered against target and to meet customer requirements
Operating the machine in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards
Ensuring the work area is clean, tidy and obstruction free
Ensuring all documentation is correctly filled out and signed on completion of job
Communicating with the Conversion Manager and Shift Manager
Ensuring that all quality standards are met Person Specification: Previous experience operating a machine in a production environment
Reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic approach to work
A keenness to learn new skills and to show a flexible attitude
Competent communications skills both verbal and written
Have a reasonable level of fitness as the role involves some physical activity e.g. lifting and bending This is a full time role which will become permanent for the right candidate. The working hours will initially be a rotating shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm however moving forward you would be required to work a night shift (10pm to 6am) as part of your rota.
