    ✨ Who We Are:
    ARC HD Services Ltd, part of Community Integrated Care, provides specialist residential and 1:1 support for young people aged 9–18 facing complex social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including ASD, ADHD, PTSD, and trauma-related behaviours.

    We run four small, nurturing homes—each supporting up to three young people in a warm, homely environment tailored to individual needs.     💼 The Role
    👥 1:1 support with young people
    ⏰ 39 hours per week, working 2 x 15 hour shifts, 1 x 9 hour shift and 1 sleepover per week 
    ⏰ Shifts are 8am – 1pm, 1pm – 6pm and 6pm – 11pm
    🛏️ One weekend off every three
    🚗 Manual driving license required
    👫 Recruiting for one permanent role and one temporary role (for an initial period of 12 months for maternity cover)

    Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: We support 17 individuals at this Service comprising of 12 bedsits and a 3-bed roomed bungalow which 2 people reside. They require various levels of support with learning disabilities, mental health and physical disabilities. We focus on achieving individualised goals, working together to overcome barriers, and ensuring people are living their very best lives. They need to be supported by people who understand their individual needs, and will promote their independence and really make a positive difference to their lives. They each have their own interests and like to take part in lots of activities - from karaoke, baking, BBQs and garden parties - to discos, day trips and holidays. They have all had experience of challenges with their anxieties, past traumas and behaviours. They need support workers to be confident supporting them in these areas. We need to build on their trust to help them feel safe and secure. We are recruiting for a 40 hour and a 30 hour Post of waking nights which would be from 10 pm - 8am. We require support workers to be flexible over the week to meet the needs of this service. The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities but this hasn’t stopped them from enjoying life! They enjoy lots of activities, including gardening, arts and crafts, puzzles, going to the theatre and concerts and going for spa days. Our support team are very diverse and work well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes. This can include: • Supporting them with medication • Cooking • Assisting with personal care and mobility • Maintaining the homes of people supported and managing their finances. Our team provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so we are looking for some flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends and sleepovers. We are looking for a Full time Support Workers for 30 hours per week and our ideal candidate would hold a full UK driving license, as the ladies we support love to go out for a drive.
