Logistics Controller – Part time – 25 hours Based on site at our Distribution Centre in Peterborough. At Coloplast, we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving environment where accuracy, ownership and great supplier relationships make all the difference. If you enjoy variety, love getting into the detail, and want to be part of a team that keeps essential healthcare products moving, this could be the perfect role for you. The Role This is a part‑time position (25 hours per week) with flexibility around how those hours are worked for the right person. You will join our UK Distribution Centre team, taking on a rotational set of responsibilities that keep our inventory, data, and supplier processes running smoothly. Your work will span everything from setting up new product locations and maintaining base data in Enterprise One Stock Management system, to running inventory checks, monitoring stock levels, and supporting cycle counts. A key part of your role will be managing the ordering of non‑Coloplast stock, around 150 orders per week, requiring a few hours of focused ordering each day. You’ll also handle claims, investigate discrepancies, and work closely with suppliers to chase orders, resolve issues, and keep stock flowing into the DC. You’ll interpret reports, spot trends or anomalies, and help balance the need for stock availability against the risk of back orders. Working alongside two Coordinators, two Administrators, a Senior, and an Analyst, you’ll rotate through operational tasks such as checking locations, reviewing paperwork, and supporting the wider logistics team. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement, Lean activities, and maintaining high standards across the Distribution Centre. Why Coloplast? Coloplast is a global leader in medical devices, driven by a mission to make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs. Our UK Distribution Centre plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive the products they rely on, and every member of our team contributes to that purpose. You’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative environment where development is encouraged, ideas are welcomed, and high standards are celebrated. We’re committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement—and we’re equally committed to creating a workplace where people feel valued, trusted, and able to grow. Who are we looking for? You’ll thrive here if you’re organised, detail‑driven, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. You enjoy working with data, can interpret reports confidently, and have a natural instinct for spotting when something doesn’t look right. Experience in logistics, purchasing, or distribution is helpful, but not essential if you bring strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn. You’ll need excellent communication skills, as you’ll be liaising with suppliers daily and working closely with colleagues across the Distribution Centre. Confidence with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is important, and experience with E1 or similar systems would be a real advantage. If you have dangerous goods knowledge or qualifications, even better. Above all, we’re looking for someone who takes ownership, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys being part of a team that keeps things moving. Pursuing an ambitious growth agenda, Coloplast develops and markets products and services that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs.
