By joining our team, you'll help shape the future workforce and make a lasting impact on the lives of learners. Job Title: Beauty Therapy Technician
    ( Term time 22 hours per week) As a Beauty Therapy Technician , you'll have the opportunity to support the delivery of an outstanding curriculum in Beauty Therapy. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that our teaching salons are safe, professional, and well-equipped, supporting both staff and students to deliver an exceptional learning experience. In this role, you will: Support teaching staff by assisting students in all aspects of the Beauty Therapy curriculum. Prepare and organise class materials efficiently to ensure smooth running of sessions. Maintain salon equipment, report faults promptly, and ensure Health & Safety standards are met. Promote and model safe working practices at all times. Assist with the cleaning and upkeep of salons during both day and evening operations. Carry out regular stock checks, maintaining sustainable stock levels and ensuring best value through supplier comparison. Support students in small groups within the salon and reception environment. Undertake Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) after receiving training. Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences. Essential Qualifications: Education to Level 2 or above and/or a professional qualification in a relevant subject area (e.g. Beauty Therapy). Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (GCSE Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent). Essential Experience: Practical industrial experience within a commercial salon. Experience of working effectively as part of a team. Awareness of Health & Safety at Work and safe salon practices. Confident use of IT and digital systems to support teaching delivery Desirable Qualifications: Education to Level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in Beauty Therapy or related discipline. Desirable Experience: Experience in stock control or procurement within a commercial or educational setting.
