We are seeking a Lecturer to join our team. In this role you will undertake teaching, learning, and curriculum development responsibilities across designated Further and Higher Education programmes. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering effective, inclusive, and engaging teaching sessions across a range of levels. Job title: Lecturer - Wood Occupations Full Time, Permanent Colchester Campus About the role: Comprehensive teaching responsibilities (designing schemes of work, assessing, preparation, delivery, marking, individual student tutoring). Designing, developing, and reviewing curriculum materials in line with programme specifications and quality assurance frameworks. Delivering engaging and innovative teaching using a variety of pedagogical approaches to meet diverse learner needs. Assessing student work in accordance with established criteria and providing timely, constructive feedback to support progress and achievement. Monitoring and tracking student performance, implementing appropriate interventions where necessary. Contributing to quality improvement processes, including course review, standardisation, moderation, and compliance activities. To reflect continuously and improve the quality of teaching and learning within your sessions. Utilising and developing resources to support student achievement. Essential Experience: Teaching or delivering training experience. Experience of working with young people. Essential Qualifications: Educated to Level 3 or above and/or hold a professional qualification in the relevant subject area, or equivalent. Alternatively, educated to degree level or above in the relevant subject area, or equivalent. Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics, including GCSE grade 4/C or above (or equivalent qualification). Why join us?
