Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Weight Control Engineer to join our team for an exciting Floating Wind project. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of weight-related aspects throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: Utilize expertise in weight control to estimate, monitor, and report weights and centre of gravity (CoG) of dry, lift, and operating weights relevant to offshore structures. Identify and monitor weight implications due to design changes, ensuring adherence to project specifications and requirements. Coordinate all activities related to Weight Control in accordance with project and Client requirements, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams. Requirements: Degree qualified engineer with design experience in weight control. Proven experience in weight control, with a strong background in design. Proficiency in MS Excel and hand calculations. Familiarity with MathCAD software preferred. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
