Logistics Coordinator (Production)Location: MelkshamPay Rate: £14.40 p/hHours: Monday to Thursday and on FridaysWe are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing environment, taking responsibility for supporting and coordinating a dedicated production area.This is a key role focused on ensuring materials, workflow, and communication are aligned to keep production running efficiently and on schedule.The RoleAs a Logistics Coordinator, you will act as the link between production, stores, and planning, ensuring your assigned production area is fully supported with materials, information, and coordination to meet output targets.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of a specific production area, ensuring smooth day-to-day operationsCoordinate the flow of materials, components, and work orders to support production schedulesMonitor production progress and highlight any delays or issuesLiaise with production, stores, planning, and quality teams to resolve shortages or bottlenecksEnsure all documentation, job packs, and system updates are completed accuratelyTrack and manage work-in-progress (WIP) to maintain efficient workflowSupport production planning and scheduling activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency within your areaEnsure high standards of organisation, housekeeping, and communicationWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in a logistics, production coordination, or manufacturing environmentStrong organisational and planning skillsAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasksGood communication skills and the ability to work across teamsStrong attention to detail and accuracyConfident using IT systems (ERP/MRP systems advantageous)Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skillsValid Counterbalance licence (Training can be provided)What's on OfferOpportunity to take ownership of a key production areaStable role within a growing manufacturing businessSupportive team environmentImmediate start available or the right candidate
