Working as part of the Intermediary Oversight team our ideal team member will have previous experience in building strong relationships with excellent attention to detail.RESPONSIBILITIESAdministration of the broker oversight audit including risk assessments to select intermediaries for review, liaising with brokers and sales, reviewing and assessing questionnaire responses and evidence received from intermediaries, determining remediation actions and completing the broker questionnaire documentation and trackers.Administration of the Brokers of Concern process including completing investigations to determine the level of risk to CBPF and appropriate next actions whilst also engaging relevant stakeholders to assist.Effective documentation and management of follow up of actions through to completion.Producing data analysis and management information for senior stakeholders relating to brokers of concern and broker questionnaires.Producing reports and capturing minutes for the Broker Concerns Forum and presenting papers where appropriate.Supporting the Senior Analyst in coordinating working groups for high-risk concerns including taking minutes and distributing actions.Supporting the Senior Analyst in preparing training documents and delivering training to the wider business.Regular engagement with other key business functions such as fraud, credit controls, sales broker management, contract management and operations to ensure collaboration and consistency. Working with experienced Audit Manager audit leads, you will contribute to the successful delivery of the audit in planning, fieldwork and reporting.RESPONSIBILITIESSupporting delivery of end to end audit activities within Group Internal Audit (GIA).Producing quality analysis and input to the annual risk assessment process and related annual audit plan.Contributing to delivery of quality risk-based, value adding audit work on a timely basis in line with methodology:Defining risks, controls and understanding design and operational effectiveness.Leading sections and assisting with co-ordination of audits, including engagement in planning, execution, testing, reporting and audit file completion.Managing relationships with business staff professionally and effectively.Drafting high quality detailed, relevant and accurate audit workpapers and documents on the effectiveness of the bank's internal control environment.Tracking allocated outstanding management actions through to closure, ensuring they are appropriately resolved with supporting evidence or escalated in a timely mannerWE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:A proven track record of executing audit testing (across different areas)Proven understanding of risk and controls principles.High level of motivation and ability to work in an organised manner under pressure.An ability to build strong relationships with auditees.Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Influencing and negotiation skills.Ability to deliver work on time and to budget.Audit experience ​CISA or CISM (exam pass or certification)IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:Prior experience of working in internal audit roles, preferably with a reputable banking / financial institution, or top tier assurance experience.Strong knowledge of the technology industry standards, including IT Resilience and Change risk and EU/UK regulations applicable to Close Brothers.Financial services related qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, CFA, FRM, CIA, CRISC etc. will be considered advantageous.We are an inclusive organisation and committed to ensuring our recruitment process is as accessible as possible to everyone.
