We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Artist to help MPG deliver the best possible Game User Interfaces to our clients. Are you deeply passionate about seamless design choices, the exact colour choice for a button, or the perfect positioning of it? Do you notice font choice, alignment and kerning everywhere you look? Do you love solving the frustration of poorly designed user flow? If you have a natural eye for these details, then this may be the role for you. You will be collaborating closely with our game designers, artists, engineers and production teams to deliver world class work for our clients and continue our drive for improvement in service and quality. You’ll be an advocate for great communication in User Interfaces, sharing knowledge on the subject and contributing improvements to our processes. You’re a skilled artist/graphic designer, with a strong understanding of Core Game and Meta Game design as well as the technical challenges of UI development. Requirements You’re stylistically diverse, organised and precise You have a deep understanding of the roles and workflows of a UI art team, and how an art team integrates with and supports the wider development team You’re a fantastic Graphic Designer with a strong knowledge of art theory Advanced knowledge of User Interface theory and practice, including terminology and best practices Proficiency with typical UI and graphic design tools, alongside a solid general knowledge of art tools and game engines such as Figma, Photoshop, and Unreal Engine Ability to create and present high level documentation, style guides and ideation Ability to advise team members on UI production matters - with solid experience using production tools like Jira Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to analyse and comprehend visual direction A strong communicator with the ability to verbalise conceptual thoughts and the willingness to accept constructive critique What would help: Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable Experience with direct client communication.
