As we look to the future, we are seeking a visionary Managing Director to modernise our business, digitalise our operations, and drive our next phase of commercial growth. The Role
  As Managing Director, you will take full P&L accountability and bridge the gap between our family heritage and modern corporate governance. Your mandate is clear: protect what makes us great while systematically updating our systems, automating legacy processes, and expanding our market reach. You will lead an experienced team through its next phase of growth. Key Responsibilities Expand Market Share: Secure new multimodal freight opportunities and develop high-value shipper relationships. Nurture the Culture: Act as a trusted partner to family shareholders, introducing modern management practices while respecting the company's roots. Ensure Compliance: Overlook absolute compliance with UK customs, BIFA/FIATA rules, and AEO standards. What We Are Looking For Freight Industry Experts: 10+ years of deep experience in international freight forwarding, multimodal transport, and customs clearance. Proven Change Leaders: A track record of modernising an SME or family-owned logistics business through digital transformation. Executive Leaders: Minimum 5 years of senior management experience with direct P&L ownership. Experience: Exceptional industry experience.   Clarendon Executive is delighted to be partnering with Air Ambulance Northern Ireland to appoint a Community Fundraising Manager. Every day, somewhere in Northern Ireland, two people experience the worst moment of their lives. Air Ambulance NI exists to ensure those patients receive advanced, pre-hospital critical care when every second counts. Since launching in 2017, the charity has responded to more than 5,600 emergency call-outs and now attends around 60 life-saving missions every month. As the charity continues to grow its impact, this appointment represents an exciting opportunity to lead one of its most important fundraising functions, developing sustainable income streams that help keep this vital service flying for the people of Northern Ireland. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Community Fundraising Manager will lead a dedicated team of three, driving income growth across community fundraising, gifts in wills, in-memory giving, signature events and other strategic fundraising initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing supporter relationships, identifying new opportunities for growth and delivering an exceptional supporter experience, while contributing to the wider strategic objectives of the organisation. As the charity continues to grow its impact, this is an exciting opportunity to lead its marketing and communications function, strengthening brand visibility, enhancing reputation, engaging supporters and supporting ambitious organisational and income objectives. Reporting to the Head of Operations & Finance, the Marketing and Communications Manager will lead a small in-house team and manage external agencies and suppliers. The role will provide strategic leadership across communications, content and editorial planning, media and PR, stakeholder engagement, internal communications and reputation management. The Candidate We are seeking an experienced marketing and communications professional with: A third-level qualification or equivalent in marketing, communications, PR or a related discipline A minimum of five years' corporate marketing experience Proven experience developing and delivering strategic communications plans with measurable outcomes Strong project, financial and organisational management skills Experience managing staff, agencies and/or suppliers A recognised professional qualification such as CIPR or CIM A valid UK driving licence and access to a car The ability to manage sensitive issues and work effectively under pressure This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious communications professional who wants to make a meaningful difference and play a key role in shaping the profile and reputation of one of Northern Ireland's most recognised charities.
