    The department is based in a newly designed area of the school, with classrooms furnished to a high standard and equipped with state-of-the-art technology.     Teach Spanish across KS3 and GCSE at KS4

    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher with QTS (they will consider unqualified) to deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons, strong subject knowledge, and a commitment to raising achievement. You will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and the wider life of the school, ensuring that all learners are supported to make excellent progress. The contract is for 9 months covering maternity leave, starting in January 2026.
    Key Responsibilities
    Teaching & LearningTeach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons are well-planned, engaging, and appropriately differentiated.Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.Contribute to curriculum development and maintain high standards of subject knowledge.Create a positive learning environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.Use a range of teaching strategies and practical activities to support scientific understanding.Prepare and update resources, practical materials, and schemes of work as required.
