Job Purpose:
This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across several site locations.
You will be the first line in all maintenance throughout your allocated sites.
The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPM's. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.
All work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy.
Key Accountabilities:
• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.
• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• Order spares to the laid-down procedures.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
• Ensure that compliance documentation is always completed and up to date.
• Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by City management.
• Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual's technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
• Attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum.
• Quality of repairs and maintenance.
• Able to work efficiently on your own or part of a team.
• Excellent communicator (both written and verbally)

Job Function:
To undertake installation, commissioning and maintenance works alongside the Security Systems team whilst operating in compliance with company policy and procedure.
Principle Accountabilities:
Multiple system type installation to commissioning and handover of Fire including Addressable /Non- addressable systems, Air Sampling, Beam Detection, Wireless etc in accordance with the current standards and Codes of Practice. Work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the project delivery dates. Ability to commission and handover systems in line with the specification and drawings, including giving client demonstrations. FIA qualifications (BS5839 Fundamentals/Advanced and Commissioning) A full understanding of BS5839 (All parts) - SSSTS to supervise 3rd parties on sites as required. Ensure all relevant H&S requirements are complied with. Ensure the health, safety and welfare of yourself and the team in accordance with Company policy. Completion of the relevant e-documentation (via tablet) or paperwork in line with FIA & BAFE requirements. Actively always support company policy and best practice around fire and security, with emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information. Knowledge of integration of detection systems into other disciplines would be a real advantage. Provide technical support for all departments within the City. The ability to assist in the teaching and development of trainee Engineers
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
A proven background and experience of Fire Alarms minimum of 8 years. FIA qualifications (Advanced and Commissioning) A full understanding of BS5839 is essential. Knowledge of integration of detection systems into other disciplines would be a real advantage. Ability to program varying manufacturers cause and effects from a laptop is essential. Good communication skills are required as majority of the role will involve being in a customer facing environment. The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time. A good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and the systems we install is required. A full understanding of Health and Safety is essential. A full clean driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country. ECS/CSCS Card. IPAFF and Asbestos awareness essential SSSTS to enable supervision of third-party contractors while on site is essential Willingness to go the extra mile. A flexible attitude to working hours is necessary and we require a willingness to travel to locations across the country. Overnight stays will be required due to the onerous task while commissioning large systems. The willingness to travel at short notice is essential. On-call while system on soak test and during warranty period Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity and proactive.

Job Purpose:
This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a number of site locations within a specified region.
To carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to a range of electrical, mechanical and building assets in ASDA stores in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the specified Company Health and Safety procedures.
* Although not an exhaustive list, this is likely to include bakery and catering equipment, mechanical and electrical systems and assets, lighting systems, building fabric, water services and other static and portable electrical equipment. General maintenance and first look is required for all HVAC/Fire and Security and electrical and general issues.
Key Accountabilities
To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with City and ASDA colleagues. To complete all necessary PPM's and ensure all PPM remedial tasks are accurately logged and actioned, ensuring legal compliance To supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA), provide regular coaching and support them to perform their role in line with company processes. To respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where required. To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLA's To communicate with Asda Store Management teams and RES of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the store. To complete general repairs and maintenance to ASDA store sites as designated by the RES, e.g. repairs to the building fabric and surfaces. To assist other MSTs in other Stores/Regions when requested to do so by the RES To recruit and select suitably qualified and experienced MA to ensure continuous service delivery in stores; following company processes and policies in recruitment. To maintain accurate administration as well as City applications, recording of jobs live and effective utilisation of time. To attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments, which may include overnight stays. To comply with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times. Ensure current compliance documentation required for relevant allocated tasks are completed to required quality standards. Ensure that your team attend and complete all mandatory training, including induction programmes and eLearning modules within the timescales required. To provide on the job coaching and support to the team to ensure they are able to perform to the required standards within their role. To deliver technical coaching solutions to the standards required, ensuring participation of trainees through active encouragement and support of learning Complete all induction and training administration, including probationary reviews to ensure that the team are fully competent, and aware of their performance. To participate in an Out of Hours standby rota (min 1 week in 4) and to complete general repairs to plumbing systems and drainage during Out of Hours Standby To complete basic repairs to plumbing systems and drainage during Out of Hours Standby Carryout first look for equipment such as Fire and Security/ HVAC/electrical and general issues To comply with any other reasonable request or instruction from the RES, or other City Management Team

CRITERIA - Professional/Academic/ Vocational Qualifications
C&G 2382 (18th edition) Level 3 core Electrical qualification, examples of which are: C&G2330, C&G 2365 (with relevant experience), C&G2365 etc. GCSE standard Familiarity with completion of electrical certification City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection Time served in electrical discipline or have relevant industry experience in a similar role.
Specific Knowledge - 3 phase electrics and its applications

An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our company to work with one of our major UK supermarket clients.
The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across several retail stores, maintaining, and repairing a range of refrigeration equipment. Additionally, you will undertake regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer.
Key Responsibilities:

City and Guilds 7671 18th Edition. City and Guilds Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Refrigeration System Services.
The ideal candidate:
Multiple years' experience working with supermarket refrigeration systems. Flexible to be part of the 24/7 on-call rota every 1:4 weeks. Full driving license. Experience using a PDA system.
