    Circet UK is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of fibre optic network build projects across the UK. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
    You’ll be the driving force behind project planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination – helping us deliver best-in-class connectivity infrastructure at scale.

    What You’ll Be Doing Lead the full lifecycle of fibre network rollout projects – from planning and mobilisation to delivery and handover Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resources Oversee field operations, spending approximately 50% of your time on-site with delivery teams Manage internal resources, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met Track project progress, resolve issues proactively, and maintain accurate RAID logs Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Streetworks regulations, and company standards Coordinate procurement activities and manage project-related commercial responsibilities Monitor and control project budgets and forecasts – managing up to £10 million annual revenue Act as primary liaison with clients, local authorities, and internal departments (design, operations, commercial) Lead project meetings, provide regular updates, and manage stakeholder expectations Carry out site inspections, ensure quality control, and conduct regular safety audits Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams What You’ll Need 3–5+ years of experience delivering complex infrastructure or fibre network build projects Background in telecoms, fibre, or civil engineering environments in the UK is essential Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying sizes and complexity Strong working knowledge of FTTx delivery, civil engineering processes, and construction best practices Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Proficient in using project management tools (, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with the ability to thrive in fast-paced settings

    Responsibilities of the Overhead Line Worker:
    Carry out maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and installation of overhead lines as directed. Work at height on poles and towers safely and professionally, using MEWPs when required. Ensure all works comply with current health and safety legislation, relevant standards, and company procedures. Interface with chargehand, site supervisors, and client representatives to ensure smooth project delivery. Complete all allocated work pack documentation accurately and submit within required timeframes. Report near misses and good catches promptly. Use all equipment necessary for overhead line work as detailed in the OHL manual. Take responsibility when working on customer property, maintaining professionalism and care. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

    Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
    Experience of construction and maintenance of overhead lines up to and including 132kV Current DNO authorisation up to and including 132kV. UK driving licence NPG Authorisation (preferred, not essential) Pole Top Rescue certificate Manual Handling certificate Strong understanding of project health and safety requirements. High attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions. Basic customer service skills and professional conduct. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

    Additional Information
    This role will require regular travel, with overnight stays in accommodation provided along with allowances for board. A Full UK Driver’s License is required, with access to your own vehicle for travel to satellite offices across the region. This is a team-based position, 3 engineers and 1 Chargehand will travel together in a company vehicle to sites across the region. 50hr working week. standard + paid at hourly rate.     The Role
    The role of Fibre Engineer, reporting to the Fibre Supervisor, is responsible for installation and servicing FTTP and client CPE across multiple clients. You are responsible for installing overhead and underground fibre, using both OR PIA and client specific network. Activities will include using ABF equipment, plant equipment, backfill and reinstatement within customer boundaries, ensuring all H&S standards are being adhered to and the quality standards being met as per the client specification.
