This Electrical Design Engineer role will see you working on electrical schematics, control panels, power distribution systems, and technical documentation for automated industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems, control panels, and power distribution solutions Produce electrical CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs Ensure compliance with BS EN, IEC, and UL standards Support FAT/SAT testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation Work closely with engineering, production, and sourcing teams Experience Required: Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within industrial automation, machinery, or manufacturing Strong CAD and electrical documentation skills Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, encoders, and low-voltage systems SolidWorks Electrical Software or similar Interested? This is a varied role offering a genuine 50/50 split between hands-on manufacturing engineering and higher-level process improvement activities . You'll be heavily involved in CNC programming, machining processes and shop-floor support, whilst also driving continuous improvement projects, process optimisation and long-term manufacturing changes across the business.
