Role Description The Marketing and Events Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kent, WA. This role is responsible for driving event bookings through proactive sales outreach, relationship building with clients and partners, and timely follow-up on inquiries and leads. The Manager develops and executes marketing campaigns, oversees digital and print promotion, and maintains a strong brand presence across online platforms and local networks. Day-to-day activities include preparing proposals and contracts, conducting venue tours, coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery, and tracking performance metrics and sales pipelines. The role also involves attending networking events, identifying new market opportunities, and providing regular reports and insights to leadership. Qualifications Experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or venue management, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Skills in marketing planning and execution, including digital marketing, social media management, and campaign coordination. Strong client relationship management skills, including prospecting, lead nurturing, negotiation, and closing deals. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse clients and stakeholders. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple events, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with CRM tools, basic data analysis, and reporting on sales and marketing performance. Previous experience in events, hospitality, or related industries preferred; knowledge of the Kent, WA market is an advantage. Relevant education in marketing, business, hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
