Property and Assets Manager Location: Banbury Salary: £68,930.00 - £73,320.50 per annum Contractual hours: 37 Basis: Full time, Permanent - Agile working supported The Job: We are looking for an outstanding candidate to lead and manage the operational delivery of the Property and Assets service. This role will be key to identifying opportunities for the most effective, efficient, and commercial approach to property asset management. You will lead, manage and deliver excellent value for money from the council's property asset portfolios and provide an outstanding property service to internal and external customers. You will ensure that the council's assets and facilities enable the delivery of the council's wider services and objectives. You will have excellent experience in preparing high quality business cases and evaluations to inform decision-making relating to the council's property portfolio, whilst taking full responsibility for substantial capital and revenue income and expenditure budgets. The Person: You will be educated to degree level, have membership of a relevant professional body (ideally RICS) and substantial experience of leading a Property and Asset team with multiple sites. You will have proven ability to deliver complex, challenging and politically sensitive change. You will have exceptionally strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop constructive relationships with stakeholders will be essential. With the ability to influence and persuade others you will be both motivational and resilient in your leadership style. We are looking for a personally effective, determined candidate who wants to deliver a clear vision for the Councils Property Strategy achieving excellent value for money.
