This home-based role offers the opportunity to manage an established portfolio of major donors across Scotland, building meaningful relationships with supporters and delivering an exceptional donor experience. Working four days per week on a 9-month fixed-term contract, this position would suit an experienced relationship fundraiser who enjoys donor stewardship, major donor fundraising and developing long-term supporter relationships. While this is a fixed-term opportunity, the organisation has a strong track record of retaining talented fundraisers where opportunities arise. The Role You will manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects, delivering exceptional stewardship and building long-term relationships with individuals capable of making significant gifts. Working as part of a national philanthropy team, you will engage supporters through personalised communications, meetings and events, ensuring every donor feels valued and connected to the organisation's mission. Whilst the portfolio includes opportunities to secure new gifts, the immediate priority is maintaining excellent supporter relationships and ensuring donors receive an outstanding experience. You will be encouraged to identify opportunities to grow supporter engagement and income where appropriate, whilst ensuring the existing portfolio continues to receive first-class stewardship. About You We are keen to hear from candidates who have: Experience managing relationships with major donors, high-value supporters or key stakeholders. A track record of developing and stewarding supporter relationships. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. A genuine passion for delivering an exceptional supporter experience. Experience of working towards income targets, fundraising objectives or relationship management goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially aware and people-focused finance leader who enjoys working within ambitious, purpose-driven organisations making a genuine difference. The organisation delivers services across multiple locations throughout Scotland and continues to grow through new funding streams, social investment opportunities and service development initiatives. As Head of Finance, youll play a key strategic role in helping shape sustainable growth whilst ensuring robust financial management across the organisation. Reporting into the CEO and working closely with the Board and senior leadership team, youll lead on budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, audit, compliance, risk management and financial planning.
