    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

    The 4Voice team sit within the Marketing department, whose core purpose is convincing audiences (hello, you) to choose Channel 4 by maintaining strong brand presence and showcasing our best content, across all our sub-brands, content platforms and services. The Announcers provide that crucial link between the business and its viewers through live and pre-recorded continuity, delivered on our linear TV channels (C4, E4, E4 Extra, Film4 and More4) and on Channel 4 Streaming.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITES 

    After the suitable training is carried out: Watch content and write concise, insightful, enticing, editorially and legally compliant promotional scripts to suit each channel’s unique brand identityWrite scripts for use on Channel 4 Streaming Refine scripts following feedback Record, edit and upload audio for pre-recorded transmission on our linear channels and on Channel 4 Streaming, at our Playout Centre or remotely Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure sign-off on all marketing messagingReact quickly and creatively to varied briefs from around the businessAssist with production administration including setting deadlines, and managing calendars to ensure they’re metOrganising post-production bookings, maintaining good relationships with external suppliers and internal production centreSourcing material for projects, social video, pitches & briefsAssisting in departmental admin including help with dept. events, away days, creative team meetings and award submissions Ensure archiving & logging of all 4Voice project material across the businessHelping to maintain databases and trackers Be passionate about and understand the Channel 4 ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    4creative is the multi-awarded, highly creative, in-house agency for Channel 4. It forms part of the Brand division. 
     
    Within that, 4creative is responsible for developing and delivering all advertising campaigns for Channel 4 in every media. As such, 4creative plays a key role in projecting a coherent sense of the 4-brand family both outwardly and internally throughout the Channel 4 business.
     
    As a digital creative apprentice you will be learning and working in lots of different areas within the creative agency. The role is based in our Leeds office, however travel will also be involved to our London office, post houses and shoots. (Travel and Hotel for work purposes will be expensed). 
    We’re looking for someone with a passion for social/digital media and creativity and who can bring lots of ideas and energy to the role. The role will show you the whole creative process, from ideation to delivery of final assets, and allow you to explore different areas to experience the different roles within the creative agency. From ideas for show names to tactical social content, from film-making and editing to posters and stunts,this role will cover and broad spectrum of creative approaches.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITES

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

    4Studio is the home of social media content at Channel 4. This includes content that we make about, and with our TV shows and talent, content we make with our favourite brands and sponsors, or original content for social media audiences. We also distribute and manage this content across over 100 different accounts.

    The primary activities of 4Studio will be to curate (existing) and create (new) short-form content and distribute it through actively managed social media channels. The Social Media Apprentices will work very closely with key people and departments within C4 and on occasion with external stakeholders.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITES 

    Reporting to a Social Media Manager, the Social Media Apprentice is a key member of the Channels Teams in 4Studio. You’ll experience all the different aspects of the work during your rotations and will assist the team to produce and publish campaigns that successfully drive viewers to engage with Channel 4. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Working closely with the channels teams to coordinate, manage and build Channel 4’s social media presence across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, Snapchat and TikTok - predominantly to drive views on our content.Learning about the production process from idea to publication.     DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

    Channel 4’s Content Communications department is responsible for generating and shaping earned press and media coverage for Channel 4’s diverse range of programmes, services and talent. The department proactively publicises Channel 4's reputation, vision, programmes and content across all print press, digital, TV and radio, consumer and trade publications, and with influencers - with a view to driving both audiences to watch the content and feel an affinity for its brand and reputation. The department handles all media requests for programme information, talent and executive interviews, clips and pictures.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our busy Content Communications team. You'll need to love TV, be social and digital media savvy, and have top notch communication skills both in person, on paper and online. You'll need to be super organised and happy to get stuck in, and be ready to kick off your career as a TV publicist. 

    You will get to work as part of Channel 4’s consumer facing press team on some of the most talked about shows on TV, offering administrative support and bringing your ideas and perspective to the team, whilst also assisting on some major campaigns.

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

    The CEO Office sits at the centre of the organisation, As well as supporting the CEO, it provides a link between all departments and has direct responsibility for the administration of the Executive meetings (senior management) and the Board.

    This role will report to the Chief of Staff working as part of the team responsible for Board administration (known as the Secretariat) and will work closely with the Assistant Corporation Secretary. There will also be links to the Head of Corporate Governance (and Corporation Secretary) who holds the formal governance responsibility for the Board and is based in the Legal department.

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

    4Studio is the home of social media content at Channel 4. This includes content that we make about, and with our TV shows and talent, content we make with our favourite brands and sponsors, or original content for social media audiences. We also distribute and manage this content across over 100 different accounts.

    The primary activities of 4Studio will be to curate (existing) and create (new) short-form content and distribute it through actively managed social media channels. The Social Media Apprentices will work very closely with key people and departments within C4 and on occasion with external stakeholders.

    The role will be based in C4’s National HQ in Leeds and will be a key component of C4’s regional strategy, creating creative job opportunities outside London and expanding the diversity of the company’s creative contribution.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITES 

    Reporting to a Social Strategist, the Social Media Apprentice is a key member of the Channels Teams in 4Studio. You’ll experience all the different aspects of the work during your rotations and will assist the team to produce and publish campaigns that successfully drive viewers to engage with Channel 

    Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Working closely with the channels teams to coordinate, manage and build Channel 4’s social media presence across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, Snapchat and TikTok - predominantly to drive views on our content.Learning about the production process from idea to publication.     DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

    The Policy and Public Affairs team sits within the Nations and Regions division and is responsible for managing all of Channel 4’s relationships with the UK and devolved Governments and Parliaments, as well as with regulators and other stakeholders in the political and corporate worlds.
