Serious Injury Solicitor - Birmingham or Manchester My client is a leading national firm who are seeking a Serious Injury Solicitor with 1-6 PQE to join their successful department. The team deal exclusively with serious injury claims sustained abroad, or foreign residents who are injured whilst visiting the UK. Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of serious injury and catastrophic injury claims including employers' liability, package holiday, aviation, cruise, RTA, clinical negligence and public liability matters Attend Court hearings and conferences with experts and/or counsel Conduct legal research, draft legal documentation, and prepare cases for court proceedings Negotiate settlements and liaise with insurers, medical experts, and other third parties Support clients through the claims process, providing clear advice and empathetic guidance About you Qualified solicitor with 1-6 years PQE in serious injury claims (claimant or defendant) Experience in travel litigation/cross border claims is desirable but not essential, as training and supervision will be provided A compassionate and empathetic approach An appetite for business development, with the ability to build successful relationships with a wide range of professionals This is an exciting opportunity to work in an experienced and highly collaborative team.
