    An opportunity for a CHECK Team Member or Infrastructure CHECK Team Leader is available at CGI, joining the Cyber Security business unit, one of the largest groups of cyber security specialists in the UK. CGI has a long established reputation in this area, undertaking rigorous testing for a variety of commercial and public sector clients for over 30 years.     Your future duties and responsibilities
    • Deliver end to end penetration testing engagements across web applications and infrastructure domains, from initial client engagement and scoping through to reporting and client aftercare.
    • Participate in client interactions including scoping discussions, requirements gathering, and contribution to proposals and statements of work.
    • Conduct penetration tests using structured methodologies and industry recognised approaches.

    CGI are looking to hire a Training Manager to be responsible for planning and coordinating all training activities that enable operational users to effectively adopt and use the system capability. The Borealis programme is a UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) and UK Space Agency (UKSA) initiative to create a new command and control (C2) system for Space Domain Awareness (SDA). This system will help monitor and protect critical UK and allied satellites and space assets from threats and debris in an increasingly congested and contested space environment. The contract will deliver an Initial Operating Capability within 12 months and is set to run for five years. BOREALIS will be delivered using an Agile approach, allowing the MOD and UKSA to respond swiftly to new technology and emerging threats. This will ensure the UK remains at the forefront of space operations in a rapidly evolving landscape.

    Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position but you will be expected to travel to client site or CGI offices 1 to 2 days a week on average

    Your future duties and responsibilities
    n this role, you will work alongside clients to design, assure, and improve secure IT services across the full-service management lifecycle. You'll take ownership of service strategies and designs that balance people, process, technology, and commercial considerations, ensuring solutions transition smoothly into live operations and deliver real business impact.

    You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping service architectures, guiding improvement initiatives, and adapting designs to emerging frameworks and technologies. Supported by a collaborative community, you'll also mentor junior consultants while continuing to develop your own expertise in response to evolving industry needs.

    Key responsibilities include:
    • Lead & Shape: Define service management and security strategies aligned to client goals.
    • Design & Deliver: Produce SDPs, HLDs, and LLDs that provide clear, secure delivery roadmaps.
    • Assure & Improve: Review and assure service designs, driving continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with stakeholders to integrate new services seamlessly.
    • Architect & Align: Design target operating models that balance business and technical needs.
    • Optimise & Enable: Assess processes, simulate workflows, and enhance service performance.
    • Mentor & Grow: Coach junior consultants and promote best practice across teams.
    • Contribute & Develop: Support business development and shape tailored advisory solutions.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role
    You will bring strong experience in service management and security service design, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical, high-quality solutions. You should be confident working with stakeholders, assuring service designs, and contributing to both delivery and advisory growth.

    Essential qualifications and experience:
    • Strong understanding of end-to-end service management and service design practices
    • ITIL Foundation qualification
    • Proven experience in security service design and security architecture principles
    • Knowledge of SecOps practices and Security by Design approaches
    • Experience in IT project delivery, process implementation, and improvement
    • Ability to review and assure service designs with constructive feedback
    • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
    • Commercial awareness of IT services, SLAs, and contractual delivery
    • Experience mentoring or coaching colleagues

    In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Director and senior business leaders to provide clear, data-driven insight that supports structural and operating model change. You will take ownership of reviewing and redesigning cost centres and standard costing approaches, building robust, flexible models that enable better planning, governance and decision-making across multiple business units. Supported by a collaborative finance community, you will help improve efficiency, transparency and scalability through smarter processes and modern tooling.
    You will also act as a trusted interface between finance and the wider business, translating operational activity into meaningful financial outcomes while contributing to broader finance transformation initiatives.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Lead cost centre reviews and redesign standard costing methodologies
    Develop & maintain scalable cost models to support scenario planning
    Analyse & explain cost and performance variances with clear recommendations
    Partner & influence senior stakeholders to improve financial visibility
    Optimise & automate forecasting, month-end and reporting processes
    Produce & present high-quality management information and insights

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role
    You will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial awareness and experience operating in complex, change-driven environments. You bring a proactive mindset, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and the confidence to partner with senior stakeholders while driving continuous improvement.

    Essential qualifications and experience:

    Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
    Demonstrable years' experience in a relevant finance role

    Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
