    Reporting to: Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel

    Role OverviewThis role exists to provide endtoend ownership of historic and ongoing customer and insurance claims arising from the green technology portfolio. The role ensures claims are managed efficiently, compliantly and costeffectively, while protecting the commercial and reputational interests of the business.The position requires strong technical claims expertise, confident stakeholder management and the ability to drive resolution across a highvolume, complex claims environment.Key Deliverables: Lead endtoend management of customer and insurance claims relating to the EMS and wider green technology portfolio.
    Act as the primary liaison with insurers, loss adjusters, brokers, external and internal counsel and relevant internal teams.
    Review, organise and maintain comprehensive claim documentation, including schedules of loss, correspondence, expert reports and policy materials.
    Coordinate factual investigations and evidence gathering with operational, finance, legal and technical teams to develop robust claims strategies.
    Monitor and manage financial aspects of claims, including budgets, reserves and spend, in line with insurer expectations and internal governance.
    Ensure compliance with policy conditions, notification requirements and insurer reporting obligations.
    Provide clear, proactive reporting to senior stakeholders on claim status, key risks, exposures and emerging portfolio trends.
    Manage relationships with external law firms and advisors to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
    Drive timely resolution of claims, balancing technical accuracy with commercial pragmatism.
    Support continuous improvement of claims processes, documentation standards and controls.
    Contribute insight on recurring issues, risk trends and lessons learned to inform wider risk management activity.
    Operate effectively across multiple DCC group entities, including Certas Energy and Flogas.Experience (what I have done) Managed complex insurance and customer claims within energy, infrastructure or green technology environments.
    Run a highvolume, multifile caseload independently with minimal supervision.
    Worked closely with insurers, loss adjusters and legal counsel to resolve contentious or highvalue claims.Knowledge (what I know) Insurance policy interpretation claims reserving and insurer expectations.
    Claims processes across customer, civil and insurance matters.
