We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it. Job SummaryThe Communications Manager works to define, develop and deliver creative ways to reach our colleagues that helps support business and company objectives. Working as part of a team of Communications Managers, the role holder will support multiple allocated communications projects, initiatives, and campaigns across different areas to meet business requirements and demands. This will require the role holder to manage several projects and stakeholders at any one time to ensure delivery of outcomes. This role will help to bring our organisational purpose, values, strategy and progress to life for all colleagues and drive improved reach and engagement across all our internal communications activity. The role holder working in partnership with the Senior Communications Business Partners and others as required will support the delivery of Group-wide and/or Business Unit communication initiatives, including the design and delivery of key messages and activities for aligned members of the Centrica Leadership Team. The role holder will bring in best practice and thinking from outside Centrica to foster an environment of continuous improvement, helping to drive greater creativity and increased engagement and understanding. This includes considering the latest creative concepts and approaches in areas such as video, audio, photography and design, working with specialists to produce content as appropriate.They will be responsible for selecting from our range of internal communications channels to maximise effectiveness and for measuring the impact and performance of owned communications and engagement activities.     We’re looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Capital and Financial Risk teams at British Gas. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll contribute to the Solvency II partial internal model, support capital and regulatory reporting, and help develop technical modelling capabilities.You’ll also work closely with the Head of Financial Risk & Actuarial on a range of risk management activities including stress and scenario testing, the ORSA, and the Actuarial Function Report. By using clever tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers, we’re making it cheaper and easier for our customers to reduce their carbon-footprint.About your role:We're looking for skilled Electricians to join our experienced Field Engineering team, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service exactly when they need it. Being there for our customers is our priority, and you'll play a pivotal role in delivering our British Gas Service Promise of same-day fixes and installing electric vehicle charge points.Base Salary: £41,389 with uncapped OTE - £51,389 is a realistic expectation through our comprehensive field reward scheme.As a British Gas Electrician, you’ll use your expertise to deliver safe, high-quality electrical work in customers’ homes, from fault finding and installations to full rewires and EV charge point installations. You’ll need at least two years’ experience as a qualified electrician.EV installation experience is a bonus, but if you don’t have it yet, we’ll give you the training and qualifications to get there.Your customer service excellence and problem-solving abilities will enable you to diagnose issues efficiently and work safely to ensure first-time fixes whilst promoting British Gas products and services through professional advice and expertise.What we're looking for:City & Guilds 2365 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent), culminating in a Level 3 Technical Certificate including the National Electrotechnical Training (NET) AM2 certificateDemonstrable experience working in the electrical industryCurrent City & Guilds 2382 - B.S. 7671 IET Wiring Regulations certificateCity and Guilds 2391.52 (or equivalent) would be highly desirableCity & Guilds 2921/2919 EV charging is desirableWhy should you apply?
