The successful candidate will, however, need to be comfortable commuting to our Windsor office on a weekly basis and to our other locations as may be needed. Please note that over the coming months we will have an office in Reading and also London Paddington where you may be required to work.Key Accountabilities:Own and administer our group-wide environmental data collection systems and reporting processesLead routine data reviews and quality checks, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and readiness for annual external assuranceContribute to high-profile external disclosures, including Centrica’s Annual Report & Accounts, Data Centre and CDP submissionsSupport senior leaders and our Board with clear, compelling environmental performance insightsHelp ensure compliance with emerging ESG legislation and standards, including CSRD and ISSBRecruit and line-manage Year‑in‑Industry students, helping grow the next generation of sustainability talentPartner with business units to shape and deliver their environmental performance plansBring colleagues on our sustainability journey by supporting engagement programmes, communications and eventsHere’s who we’re looking for:ExperienceExperience of greenhouse gas accounting and an understanding of environmental impactsStrong data analysis, interpretation and problem-solving skillsA degree or equivalent experience (preferred)Skills & CompetenciesA genuine passion for the environment and sustainabilityStrong numerical and analytical capabilityConfidence using MS Office, especially ExcelAbility to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environmentClear, confident written and verbal communicationComfort working with a variety of software systemsA balance of independent working and strong team collaborationExcellent organisation and time managementThe adaptability to grow in a rapidly evolving fieldIf you’re ready to use your skills to make a real impact, and help millions transition to a more sustainable future, we’d love to hear from you.Why should you apply?
