Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of vehicles using a 5 tonne ramp. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Master Technician will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety standards are upheld at all times.
Duties
Fully experienced on large SUVS, ideally including JLR vehicles.
Conduct maintenance tasks including inspections, servicing, and preventative upkeep to minimise downtime
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble, repair, or modify machinery components
Perform heavy lifting as required to move or install equipment safely and efficiently
Troubleshoot equipment faults accurately and implement effective repair solutions promptly
Work In line with our company ethos of training juniors from within.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and internal teams regarding repairs and maintenance status
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
Proven experience with mechanical systems, electrical schematics, and equipment repair processes
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
Experience in maintenance activities including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative measures
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with health & safety standards
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical or electrical trades are preferred but not essential depending on experience

Pay: £32,106.26-£42,000.00 per year
