    Central Autopoint is a well established family run business that has been serving Corby's motorists since 1974. We are proud to boast the latest technology to be able to keep up with dealership standard repairs. These include ADAS and Electric / Hybrid vehicle repairs.

    The Role

    We are seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our ALL BRAND service and repair centre.

    As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic you will be part of a large team of experienced Vehicle Technicians and expected to report to the Workshop Manager.

    We will aid you in your development by enrolling you into IMI accredited training that suits your needs.

    Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Duties:
    As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic you will spend most of your time in our Workshop maintaining vehicles to the high standards, carrying out inspections, repairs and services and liaising with Service Advisors and our Customers.
    - all necessary Vehicle Health Checks are completed, and paperwork / Garage Management System is accurate and up to date.
    - all jobs are completed within agreed timeframes and that a high level of productivity is maintained.
    - Analysis, diagnostics and road testing vehicles are also a critical part of this role to ensure we exceed our Customers' expectations.

    -Your working hours would be Mon - Fri 8.00 - 5.00 & Alternate Saturday mornings.

    - Wages are negotiable depending on experience.

    Required Skills and Experienced

    - NVQ Level 3, or equivalent is required

    - Strong diagnostic / fault finding skills.

    - Timing Belt and Clutch replacement experience.

    - Confident communication skills

    - Well organised and able to meet deadlines

    - Own tools are essential - (we have specialist and diagnostic tools)

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
