    Job overview We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our large, well-established school’s team to deliver a service to individuals and groups of children with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties and Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will already have experience working as an associate practitioner in primary and secondary schools. You will be expected to work independently with children under the guidance of a Speech and Language Therapist, to plan, deliver and evaluate treatment programmes, in addition to carrying out administrative duties to support departmental activities. The post will involve travelling between schools working with education staff to carry out programmes, modifying and adapting activities to suit the needs of individual children. You will be expected to work collaboratively with children and young people, parents/carers and families. Main duties of the job To communicate factual patient related information to clients, families and school staff in order to support curriculum access and ensure well co-ordinated support/care plans. The teams work with clients experiencing complex mental health problems including, complex emotional needs, psychosis, bipolar affective disorder, anxiety disorders, recurrent depression and complex PTSD. The post holder will be expected to provide specialist psychological assessment and effective evidence-based interventions. We are currently recruiting a 0.4 FTE working 15 hours a week as a Band 7 Clinical or Counselling psychologist to work within the Complex Mental Health Pathway.   We are interested in candidates with training and experience in models such as TF - CBT, EMDR and ACT. The post holder will have a commitment to team working, and service user and carer involvement. Experience of working with diversity in a multicultural setting is vital.  The service offers the opportunity to develop skills in psychosocial interventions for complex difficulties in an MDT setting. SPA provides a telephone triage, signposting, advice and support 24-hours a day, seven days per week, 365 days a year for patients, carers, GPs and other referrers. There will also be the opportunity to join our newly developed out of hours crisis response service, which provides a face to face assessment and triaging to crisis alternative services overnight. CFH is the central point for all bed management referrals, and co-ordinators and manages the adult acute mental health beds across CNWL. All staff will receive supervision, support and training and have the opportunity to rotate between SPA and CFH and potentially across other services within Urgent Care in CNWL. Main duties of the job For SPA you will work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team, managing crisis calls into the service, undertaking a clinical triage and deciding on the correct care pathway for that call, referring callers into secondary adult MH services where appropriate, or signposting callers into non-statutory, third sector services.     Job overview We are looking for a new Consultant Psychiatrist to join our specialist CAMHS team based at the Milton Keynes Hospital Campus and in close proximity to the adult mental health teams and CNWL- MK Headquarters.  Please note, applicants must be on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining the CCT and Approved Clinician Status.  The team is based at Eaglestone Health Centre within the Milton Keynes University Hospital campus Main duties of the job To provide a service to children and young people with established or suspected psychiatric illnesses for diagnosis, treatment plan and follow up, mainly for out-patients and very occasionally advice and specialist consultation to young people admitted to inpatient services. To provide a service to children and young people who have primary diagnosis of learning disabilities and mental health problems for diagnosis, management and continuing care. To provide clinical support for children with diagnosis of neurodevelopmental conditions and where needed, clinical input for additional psychopathology. To contribute to multidisciplinary assessment and management of behavioural impairment  To provide consultation and advice for complex clinical presentations requiring multidisciplinary input. The post-holder will be expected to carry a full and varied caseload for this post requiring varying degree of input from consultant psychiatrists. To develop a special clinical interest with the agreement of the Clinical Director.
    To contribute to the development of the child and adolescent psychiatry team, with a focus on developing and providing clinical leadership for the team.
    To undertake line management responsibilities and clinical supervision of up to two Specialty Doctors.  To be involved in the quality governance; including critical incident reviews and management of complaints. To provide senior medical leadership and work closely with the management team  Working for our organisation Milton Keynes Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) covers the whole area of Milton Keynes with all referrals received into the single point of access in the service. This is believed to be the best way to give greatest flexibility in case management and provision of service to children, young people and their families and carers. The service caters for all mental health presentations as well as children with learning disabilities who have mental health needs. There are a number of treatment pathways within the team for intervention and the service is currently adopting the I-Thrive model. Being part of a large and diverse London based Trust enables clinicians to access alternative learning and experience opportunities. This post-holder will have the opportunity to work closely with our colleagues in the London based CAMHS teams and (if desired) can spend up to one day per week working within one of these teams. The post-holder will be offered a place on the Management and Leadership Course run by the Trust in conjunction with Imperial College. To develop a special clinical interest with the agreement of the Clinical Director. To undertake the administrative duties associated with patient care. To participate in the out of hours on-call cover with a 1:6 rota. This is in addition to offering consultations and on-call cover to other clinicians during working hours. To contribute to the development of the child and adolescent psychiatry team, with a focus on developing and providing clinical leadership for the team. To undertake line management responsibilities and clinical supervision of up to two Specialty Doctors. To be involved in the quality governance; including critical incident reviews and management of complaints. To demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a role model to other members of the service. To provide senior medical leadership and work closely with the management team to ensure the service improve outcomes and experiences for young people and achieves its performance targets whilst delivering high quality, safe care. We are looking for an experienced IV trained and qualified Dental nurse for a full time position in our community dental service To carry out dental nursing duties to include assisting the dental clinician (e.g. Dentists, Dental Therapist/Hygienist) in treating Special Care and Paediatric patients. The postholder may also be required to assist patients within Secure Units and will be IV qualified with GA experience Maintain high standards in Infection Prevention Control.
