We seek talented professionals to join our world-class team of innovators in a global, collaborative & multi-cultural environment, where you will be challenged, supported, and inspired to be extraordinary.  GENERAL SUMMARYThe Electrician will be working as part of a team within the assembly area, working on pumps for Original Equipment [OE] and aftermarket jobs. The role will include all aspects of electrical assembly from building to dismantling product working in all areas within assembly. Working efficiently to produce quality product and workmanship within timeframe applicable. Help with continuous improvement within areas to improve flow and drive down costs.  PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)Installation of electrical and instrumentation systems and cabling on production pump skids.Electrical assembly of new pumps for OE and aftermarket orders within laid down parameters, efficiently, in line with work instructions.Dismantling and electrical assembly of repair / service pumps for OE and aftermarket orders within laid down parameters, efficiently, in line with work instructions.Working within assembly and test to ensure economic manufacturing to the correct quality standard.Responsible for your own quality of work, self-inspection and completion of paperwork and applicable checklists are required.Assist Operations Manager with problems that occur within the assembly department.  Work with other departments to ensure that issues are resolve and documented in line with current procedures in a timely manner.Maintenance of site electrical infrastructure, plant and equipment.Assist in preparing/updating assembly documentation, programs, and tooling.Participate in continuous improvement activities when required to assist the company in its efforts to drive down costs and increase productivity.If required, be available to attend customer’s site to carry out service work on behalf of the company.Work in other areas when required.Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.Ensure that health, safety and environmental guidelines are followed.Provide on-going support and training to peers and apprentices within electrical assembly and where required.Be available for further training if required.If required, assist in the test area which include Hydro, performance, noise and vibration testing. The position functions as a professional expert authority with regard to export and import laws and regulations and is responsible for ensuring that operations are carried out in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities also include training business personnel and executing operational audits to validate compliance with governing trade laws, internal policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also contribute to developing and maintaining a sustained and long-term continuous improvement culture and an efficient organization that consistently produces improved results while motivating and retaining its employees with high performance standards. The Trade Compliance Specialist will work closely with operational and commercial business teams to advise them of applicability of and changes in relevant export/import laws and regulations.   PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide all round global export/import compliance advice to the business.Develop, review, and update company export and import compliance policies, manuals and operating procedures.Conduct periodic training of company personnel with regard to export and import laws, regulations, policies and procedures.Assist the Global Trade Compliance Manager to develop and implement auditing methodology and conduct periodic audits to test company compliance with export and import regulations and Company procedures.Identify and classify Export (ECCN) and Import (HTS, HS) classifications for the company’s products.Ensure compliance with UK, U.S. and other applicable Export Control regulations, as well as conformance with internal corporate policies and procedures.Export controls and license determination for all exports and re-exports of tangible and intangible goods.UK Export Licensing: Submission and management of export license applications to the UK Department for International Trade Export Control Joint Unit via SPIRE.Monitor and maintain trade compliance data elements in the company’s systems.Support periodic internal assessments on the trade compliance program.
