The business has approx. 2000 employees worldwide with manufacturing sites in Asia Pacific, America and Europe. The UK production site is based in Dumfries, Scotland, and the Global Research & Development Operation is based at Wilton on Teesside. We currently have vacancies at our Dumfries Site for an experienced Mechanical Technician  Responsibilities: Maintain production equipment and maximise availability through a combination of reactive, proactive, preventative and predictive maintenance methods while working to the highest health & safety standards.Ensuring records are up to date in CMMS. This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday days with a requirement to work longer shifts as required which includes 12-hour day shifts, night shifts and weekend working. Qualifications: Basic qualifications:Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.Minimum 3 years of experience carrying out a similar role in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Knowledge and experience of maintaining pumps, fans, gearboxes, bearings, valves, pneumatics, hydraulics and plant services.Experience of safe systems of work and risk assessment.Ability to work to tight tolerances.Ability to work and communicate in a team.Adaptable and flexible to provide onsite support outside of normal working hours when required.Preferred qualifications/ experience:HNC in mechanical engineering desirable.Experience of a Computerised Maintenance Management System desirable.Willingness to develop.Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a valid work permit, if required.Comprehensive training & development will be given to the successful candidates.This role comes with a competitive remuneration package from £39,000, depending on skills and experience, including optional company pension, health, dental and vision cover.The closing date for applications is April 20th  Celanese is a global leader in chemistry, producing specialty material solutions used across most major industries and consumer applications.     Overview : As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will execute logistics and warehouse activities for raw materials and finished product by road transportation to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of raw materials as well as finished products to and from external warehouses.Also, you will be responsible for day to day SAP transactions in addition to resolving any off-loading issues, equipment challenges or other issues impacting raw material deliveries or accuracy. Responsibilities: - Execute logistics and warehouse activities for raw materials and finished products.Check raw materials in quality inspection and release them as per COA.Prepare customs paperwork and request export clearance from the broker.Perform GR for tanker off-loading.Do stock count on packaging materials.Check MES Active Confirmation Errors.Help with off-loading trucks (in case it is needed).Replenish raw materials in staging areas.Rip & tip raw materials and finished product.Correct raw material consumption errors on process orders.Month end close activities (process order GI / GR mismatch correction, stock count, etc).Raw material replenishment from external warehouse. Qualifications: - SAP SD module knowledge (SAP WM module is a nice to have).- basic knowledge and understanding of export / import customs clearance.- good communication skills.- Excellent problem solving skills.- Microsoft office (excel, word, power point) knowledge.- Forklift truck driving experience. We currently have four vacancies of Production Operators at our Dumfries Site. As a Production Operator you will work as part of a team responsible for the operation of our speciality production lines at optimum output and efficiencies with minimum downtime, whilst ensuring you comply with all safe systems of work and product is manufactured to meet quality standards and production schedules. Responsibilities: Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake all your work safely and in compliance with Plant rules, the Site Safety Policy and participate in safety training programmes and safety auditsOperate equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Conditions and procedures to meet production targetsMonitoring of operating parameters and equipment on the production line and taking appropriate actions to resolve deviations and process interruptionsCoordinate product grade changes to minimize downtime and ensure accurate completion of grade change checklistsVisual inspection and assessment of finished product and recording of results in the plant quality systemMaintain good housekeeping standards by keeping work areas and equipment clean and in good orderProvide effective handover to oncoming shift, detailing outstanding issues and forward plan Qualifications: Qualifications and Skills RequiredHealth & Safety awareness and experience.SVQ Level 2 or equivalent SCQF Level 5 qualifications in 4 relevant subjects or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in chemical manufacturing/manufacturing.Technical aptitude to set up process equipment and resolve process problems.Familiarity in use of computers and Microsoft applications.Good analytical skills.Ability to plan and prioritise workloads in line with Key Performance Indicators.Experience in manufacturing and an awareness of quality and hygiene systems would be an advantage.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Have a high attention to detail and a knowledge of operational standards. We have an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop their career into a Control/Electrical technician on our production facility.  The candidate will ideally have the following: Completed a time served electrical apprenticeship. C&G 17th or 18th Edition IEE Regulations qualification. Good understanding of electrical distribution and 3 phase systems. Knowledge of PLC systems would be preferred but not essential as training will be given. Fault finding & problem-solving skills. Comprehensive training & development will be given to the successful candidate. Control / ElectricalTechnicians will be part of a flexible plant team required to maintain production equipment and maximise availability of the production assets through a combination of reactive, proactive, preventative and predictive maintenance methods.
