Overview To maintain stock levels and investigate losses within company guidelines and depot limitation to provide an efficient, professional and customer focused service within agreed budget parameters. About the Role Control stock inventory levels to ensure that sufficient stock is available to meet customer demand. Ensure that any out of stocks are recorded, investigated and remedial action taken immediately. Effectively communicate stock issues to Depot management as and when they occur, suggesting alternative remedial actions that could be taken. Maintain a record and investigate all stock breakages and losses reporting any significant variances. Control the rotation of stock to ensure that products do not become out of date or out of condition. Keep accurate records of free stock allocations received by the depot. Control the return of empties to suppliers to maintain empties stock levels at a minimum.  Co-ordinate the quarterly stock take in line with the company’s standard operating procedure, providing detailed reconciliation reports to the Operations services manager together with an explanation for any differences. Control the goods inward schedule, ensuring that supplier deliveries are booked in within reasonable time windows. Shifts: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend working during peak periods - ie. Xmas/Major sporting events) You will be responsible for delivering our products to customers premises within a geographical radius from the depot with assistance from a Driver's mate. Excellent customer service is essential to our business needs as the customer is at the heart of everything we do, every order should be delivered with care, in a friendly manner and on-time. We can only consider your application if you have 3 years driving experience and be willing for us to undertake due diligence checks on your licence through the DVLA. What your working day will look like: Undertake vehicle inspection checks ensure customer orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery prior to departure Liaise with your Driver’s mate to provide a download of the running sheet and customer orders Inform the customer of any order delays, stock shortages or problems Assist with the unloading of customer orders from the vehicle to the customer premises Collect empty kegs/pallets and returns - when back at Depot ensure they are handled and stored correctly within the Warehouse or yard.  Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to Complete all paperwork/EPOD tasks and any administration tasks Liaise with Transport Management re. vehicle issues/delays Ensure full compliance with Tachograph legislation About you You have a solid understanding of the local road network, backed by over three years of driving experience, ideally including at least 12 months of Class 2 driving however we will also consider those who have recently gained their Class 2 Licence. Overview Provide support to the logistics department to ensure that all movements inbound and outbound are compliant with HMRC regulations. This involves the generation of Excise movement documents, working with clearance agents to provide Import clearance instructions and generate Export declarations. Ensure that all movements to another Tax warehouse have followed the Due diligence policy and records are retained. Where the movements have crossed the duty point the reporting of the Duty payment to HMRC on a fortnightly basis. Submit monthly stock returns to HMRC using the ATWD system.  Key Duties Import clearance instructions for customs agents. Record, verify and file entries. Verify Import data with MSS reports. Generate Export entries via CDS (Customs Declaration System) Generate Export entries via TSS (Trader Support Service) Exports to Clonmel via Northern Ireland Ensure all Import and Export entries are compliant with Trade Tariff requirements. Generate EMCS ARC declarations for outbound DIS movements from Wellpark, Dixon Blazes and Thornliebank Monitor inbound ARC and ensure are discharged in a timely manner. Generate Shipping Notes for shipments to TNI Culcavey. Raise and monitor authorised destructions and Duty reclaims. Generate W5D duty payments fortnightly for each location. Generate monthly Warehouse returns W1. Generate monthly APPA return About you Understanding of HMRC regulations, in particular Holding & Movement regulations, Excise Public notice(s) and the Alcohol Producers . 2 years working in an FMCG location that is involved in the production, storage and distribution of Excise goods. Ability to generate EMCS documents, ATWD returns.     About the role As a multi-drop HGV Driver for Matthew Clark, together with a Driver's Mate you'll deliver orders to our customers’ premises in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring we deliver safely and On Time and In Full. We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Drop Class 2 Driver to join our Matthew Clark team and the wider C&C family on full-time permanent basis. Shifts: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend working during peak periods - ie. Xmas/Major sporting events) You will be responsible for delivering our products to customers premises within a geographical radius from the depot with assistance from a Driver's mate. Excellent customer service is essential to our business needs as the customer is at the heart of everything we do, every order should be delivered with care, in a friendly manner and on-time. We can only consider your application if you have 3 years driving experience and be willing for us to undertake due diligence checks on your licence through the DVLA. What your working day will look like: Undertake vehicle inspection checks ensure customer orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery prior to departure Liaise with your Driver’s mate to provide a download of the running sheet and customer orders Inform the customer of any order delays, stock shortages or problems Assist with the unloading of customer orders from the vehicle to the customer premises Collect empty kegs/pallets and returns - when back at Depot ensure they are handled and stored correctly within the Warehouse or yard.  Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to Complete all paperwork/EPOD tasks and any administration tasks Liaise with Transport Management re. vehicle issues/delays Ensure full compliance with Tachograph legislation About you: Great knowledge of the local road network Must have at least 3 years driving experience with at least 12months Class 2 experience Hold a valid HGV driving licence and CPC licence Experience of providing great customer service Good communication skills Dealing with Multi-Drops is preferred but not essential.
