An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the leading companies in the facilities industry. They currently maintain a number of high end maintenance contracts in and around Central London and are looking for a Regional Engineering Manager Technical Contract Manager to work on one of their long standing and most coveted contracts based in Central London. The contract with a large financialcompany covering four properties and the main purpose of the job will be to ensure that contractual and technical operations are maintained to a very high standard and the service delivery iskept at the required level. There is an excellent relationship with the client and the contract is on a long term arrangement. The total value of the contract is around the £3.6 million mark and the teams across each site consist of around 14 staff in total. The main duties will also include: Manage all technical issues. Manage agreed KPI and SLAs. Responsible for managing the companys H&S and environmental performance on site. Plan and implement building shutdowns and complex client project works. Responsible for managing the companys quality procedures on site. Assisting with recruitment of any new staff required on sites. Responsible for the technical development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals. Management of client relationships on a daily basis. Management of all reports. Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue. Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate the following: Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline; C&G, HNC, HND or higher. Background in understanding of budgets and P&L. Strong critical engineering understanding. Previous experience of managing large engineering teams. Experience of service delivery in high profile buildings. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical and HVAC plant, with a particular focus on Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs) and associated air conditioning equipment. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £52,000 , a Zones 1 & 2 travel card, paid overtime, ongoing training and genuine opportunities for career progression.
