As Line Runner you will operate as part of the logistics team responsible for the delivery of parts or components to produce Building Construction Product (BCP) machines, according to specified work orders. As a Line Runner, you work on exceptions and emergencies by responding to customers, recording information, investigating root causes and problem solving. You will utilise lean manufacturing tools and techniques while operating to customer defined "tact times" and production sequences. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Follow documented standard work procedures/instructions. Support logistics planned and unplanned absences Train/coach Logistics operators to standard work instructions Data entry into excel and various apps, provide analysis, investigate root causes. Follow and utilise Caterpillar Production System principles of continuous improvement reporting, waste elimination and standard work Participate in product / process improvement dialogues as required Cover the Team Leader's role in their absence Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe in line with 5S and total preventative maintenance (TPM) Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policy and safe working practices Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork, Sustainability Undertake training and further learning as required NB. Job Responsibilities and Duties: Through this role, the successful candidate will typically: Lead critical product related projects, following the corporate New Product Introduction and work group standard processes.
