About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children’s Registered Manager to lead our Ofsted-registered residential home, providing outstanding care and support to children and young people. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the home's Statement of Purpose, ensuring the highest standards of care, and leading a dedicated team of Residential Support Workers. Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the residential home in line with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards. Develop, implement, and deliver the Statement of Purpose and a clear service development plan. Lead, motivate, and manage staff to deliver high-quality, child-centred care. Oversee safeguarding practices and ensure all regulatory standards are consistently met. Manage recruitment, supervision, appraisal, and ongoing training for staff. Ensure effective budget management and adherence to financial procedures. Liaise with external agencies, placing authorities, and multi-disciplinary teams. Ensure the home environment is safe, nurturing, and promotes positive outcomes for children. Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting, ready for inspection and compliance purposes.
