My client is currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Technician. The role offers a 37 hr working week with overtime paid for any additional hours worked, 5 weeks holiday, life insurance and employee funded private healthcare. The role isMonday - Thursday 8.30-16:30 and Friday 8.30-4pm. Due to the location, a driving license and your own transport will be required. Duties for the senior electrical technician include: Assemble electronic/electrical subassemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings or verbal instructions and following works order instructions to ISO9001 standards. Wire and solder wiring harness and cable assemblies, PC boards, SMT, transformer assemblies, control consoles, connectors, etc. Carry out heavy-duty cable wiring, deck cable assembly, and control system outfitting. Carry out fault finding and repairs to PCB component level. Perform troubleshooting and testing of assemblies & computer controlled operations. Ensure assembly/sub assembly build times and department efficiency targets are met for major project schedule into integration dates and tooling/spares WO completion dates.
