This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys assembly, testing, and problem-solving in a high-quality manufacturing environment.

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am 4:30pm
Friday: 8:30am 4:00pm

The Role
As a Mechanical Technician, you'll be involved in the assembly, testing, and commissioning of advanced mechanical and hydraulic equipment used in demanding subsea environments.
Key responsibilities include:
Assembling mechanical and hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies
Mechanical assembly and load testing of subsea products
Manufacturing and testing hydraulic hoses and pipework
Pressure testing, setup, and functional testing of a wide range of tooling and assemblies
Working closely with other departments to ensure quality standards and project deadlines are achieved
Completing all relevant documentation, including quality records, timesheets, NCRs, and ECNs
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
A background in mechanical assembly, fitting, or maintenance
Experience as an automotive mechanic, vehicle technician, or similar hands-on engineering role
A solid understanding of mechanical engineering practices and assembly techniques
Completed a mechanical apprenticeship or have equivalent shop-floor engineering experience
A strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detail
