Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical & Electronics Assembly Technician to support the assembly of precision mechanical and electronic assemblies. The successful candidate will assemble components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and documented work instructions while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical components and electronic assemblies according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructionsPerform soldering, wiring, cable harness assembly, and mechanical integration tasksUse hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to assemble components accuratelyInterpret technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), wiring diagrams, and assembly proceduresEnsure work is performed in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management system requirements
RequirementsTechnical diploma, vocational training, or equivalent experience in electronics, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical fieldExperience in mechanical assembly and/or electronic assembly in a manufacturing or workshop environmentExperience with soldering electronic components, cable harnessing, and wiring assembliesExperience following quality assurance processes and reporting non-conformancesUnderstanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems
Preferred Qualifications/ExperienceExperience in fast-paced R&D or startup environments, with rapid prototype iteration timesExperience in aerospace, defence, or high-reliability manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
