    Change Partner (FTC for 24 months) - REC000101575 Location: Hybrid working maximum 2 days based from our Gourock head office and travel across our ports and vessels as required Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 24 months, full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday Salary: Circa £55k plus benefits and depending on skills and experience Join us and help to transform how change happens at CalMac! Reporting to the Strategic Change Lead, this is a key role at the heart of our transformation journey. As a Change Partner , you’ll support the delivery of our change activity while helping to build the capability needed across the business to make change happen. You’ll design and deliver impactful change strategies that drive engagement, readiness, and adoption minimising resistance and ensuring lasting results. Working closely with delivery teams, you’ll also coach, mentor, and provide assurance that our approach to change is effective, practical, and aligned to our ambitions. What you’ll be doing Lead on smaller scale change or support on complex change projects Support with the evolution of our change and benefits frameworks, tools, and training to embed best practice Develop and deliver change strategies and plans that support key initiatives and track benefits realisation Contribute to the continuous improvement of change frameworks, tools, and training to maintain best practice Support assurance of third-party change plans to ensure they are robust, achievable, and benefits-led Help build and sustain a network of change leads to drive and embed new ways of working across CalMac Act as a trusted partner, providing expert advice, coaching, and guidance to stakeholders at all levels About you You’ll be an experienced and credible change professional with experience in change management methodologies, with the ability to develop approaches that makes complex change easy to understand for all stakeholders and keeps them engaged throughout. What you’ll bring as a Change Partner: A proven track record of supporting complex change and delivering and embedding sustainable business outcomes Strong understanding of how people experience change, with a flexible, people-centred approach Change Management certification (e.g. APMG, PROSCI) and MSP Practitioner (both desirable) Experience in digital transformation and benefits realisation (advantageous) Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels throughout the change journey Strong analytical skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information A customer service ethos with a passion and commitment to high standards and quality delivery across teams and partners Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a changing environment and deliver Proven ability to deliver tasks to time, budget and quality criteria. We’re looking for an Operational Technology Security Analyst to help protect the systems that keep our fleet and ports running. Our vessels, ports, and operational environments rely on secure, resilient OT systems. In this role, you’ll be at the frontline of safeguarding critical infrastructure, protecting everything from SCADA and control systems to industrial networks, ensuring CalMac can operate safely in an increasingly complex cyber threat landscape. Your work won’t just protect systems; it will support safe journeys for 5 million passengers every year. We offer flexibility on location, with the successful candidate able to be based anywhere across the CalMac network. You’ll work on a hybrid basis from one of our port locations, with travel to our Gourock headquarters as required. What you’ll be doing This is a hands-on, high-impact role where no two days are the same. You will: Secure critical OT systems – monitoring alerts, investigating threats, and strengthening system resilience Identify and manage risk – conducting vulnerability and risk assessments across vessels and port environments Own OT asset security posture – tracking assets and ensuring visibility, compliance, and protection Support secure design and architecture – helping shape robust OT network environments (segmentation, firewalls, DMZs) Respond to incidents and emerging threats – analysing attack trends and safeguarding systems against evolving risks Lead assurance activities – participate in audits, penetration testing, and incident simulations Collaborate across teams – working closely with engineering, IT, vessel crews, and third-party suppliers Drive awareness and improvement – championing OT cyber hygiene and continuous improvement in security practices Get hands-on on-site – visiting vessels and ports to support security in live, operational environments What you’ll bring We’re looking for someone who is technically capable, curious, and passionate about securing critical infrastructure: Experience in OT cybersecurity within industrial or critical infrastructure environments Strong understanding of ICS/SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, and industrial networking Knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g. Modbus, DNP3) Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and NCSC CAF Experience with OT monitoring tools, asset discovery, and vulnerability management Understanding of IT/OT convergence and associated risks Ability to analyse threats, respond to incidents, and improve security maturity Strong communication skills to engage a wide range of stakeholders, from engineers to senior leaders A degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering or a related discipline is beneficial, but your experience and mindset matter most.
