We will be analytical and business intelligent, with data supporting the assurance we provide and decisions we make.You will be part of a global team of analytics assurance specialists created to embed and drive a data driven culture and innovation, meeting the data access and analytical needs of the Function and its stakeholders.How you'll help us make health happen:Support the Global Head of Analytics Assurance in delivering the team’s vision and development roadmap and manage the implementation of functional initiatives in the department.Empower the Internal Audit team through the development of a data analytics and reporting ecosystem.Support and deliver on data-driven audit planning including data analytics strategies to identify high-risk areas, prioritise audit activities and optimise resource allocation.Support and deliver on multiple analytics assurance activities, ensuring timely completion to a high standard in accordance with our methodology, processes and procedures.Collaborate with the Internal Audit Managers in the collection and analysis of data to deliver audit requirements, continuous auditing purposes and planning insights for reporting to key stakeholders.Build and manage relationships with stakeholders across the business outside of GIA.Deliver insightful analysis that enables audit teams to achieve their objectives.Standardise semi-structured and complex data types into consumable data models that are accessible to users in Internal Audit.Develop and present data analytic engagement reports and findings to senior management.Oversee analysts on individual audits, including allocation and review of audit work as well as day-to-day support and advice.Drive continuous improvement in GIA, your team, and your own personal performance.Mentor and coach GIA staff on data analytics methodologies and tools.Learn all about the business, absorbing insights from across Bupa to support our function’s growth.Ensure that Analytics Assurance operational processes are compliant with Bupa operating policiesGrow your capabilities through training and coaching, completing tasks to the highest professional standards and to the best of your ability. Skills & Experience required for the role:Extensive and demonstratable experience within data science fields; designing, testing and deploying statistical models and predictive techniques such as correlation, regression, time series analysis or clustering.Exposure to cloud technologies, such as Azure Data Services or Google Cloud, and expertise in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R and visualisation tools (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau).Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) libraries such as NLTK, Gensim, or spaCy and experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in a regulated environment, preferably within healthcare, insurance or banking.An exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to transform data into a compelling narrative that engages and informsDemonstrates a natural talent for building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levelsA self-starter with a naturally inquisitive, innovative and problem-solving mindsetA bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field with good educational record up to degree level, is preferred.BenefitsOur benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
