The General Sanitation Central Hub is responsible for the cleanliness of the Central Hub Distribution areas, ensuring designated areas are audit-ready at all times. The General Warehouse Sanitation must be able to cross-train and perform Sanitation Technician duties.Essential functionsRegular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position. Position is required to work all hours necessary to ensure operations function is fulfilled, including nights, weekends, holidays.Required to clean the operational areas of the Central Hub Distribution Center, including the interior and exterior areas of the building on a daily basis.Complete daily assignments in compliance with the Warehouse Master Cleaning Schedule.Sweep and mop all assigned areas, keeping the work area clean and free of debris.Wipe down yellow/red barriers, yellow poles, support poles, stairs handrails, and pole protection barriers using cleaning solution. Pull empty pallets, damaged product and shrink wrap out of the pick areas and move to collection areas.Clean and wipe down water refrigerators across the operational areas.Use high pressure water hoses and squeegees to clean the floors.Remove and dump trash from trash cans and roll dumpsters. Wash trash cans and roll dumpster periodically and as needed.Recycle operations – Sort and dispose of damaged items in the respective recycle bins. Move bins in and out of work areas as needed or filled.Bail the cardboard and plastic waste from the operational process using the compactors.Clean the docks doors including sweep and mop dock plates, wipe down doors and clean cobwebs.Must keep all sanitation supplies in their proper place and notify Shift Lead Sanitation when running low.Must be able to run a Tenant Scrubber, as designed by manufacturer, utilizing the Infolink computer system. Must scrub all assigned areas daily.Communicate with Lead/Supervisor throughout shift about the assigned tasks and any issues.Identify needs and assist other areas when appropriate.Adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions.Use proper lifting techniques to avoid injuries and follow the BRC safety practices.Make sound decisions and multitask simultaneously without constant supervision.Required to follow the Good Manufacturing Program GMPs as listed in Code of Federal Regulations CFR 21 section . Position is required to work all hours necessary to ensure operations function is fulfilled, including nights, weekends, holidays.·This position will be responsible for filling the discharge conveyors of one cell tower with thirty lanes.·Keep all assigned conveyor lanes full, with correct product, as dictated by the lighting system.·Load into discharge conveyors only good conditions product, keep the conveyor rollers free of plastic or cardboard debris.·Following the lighting System priorities, the discharge conveyor lamps must keep “GREEN”.
