The Forklift Operator Replenishment will be primarily operating a sit-down forklift and is responsible for stocking the sourcing/picking locations of the Vertique Towers (HQS/SAW lanes) with products from the backstock locations and ensuring the continuous flow of products from the towers.Essential functions·Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position. Position is required to work all hours necessary to ensure operations function is fulfilled, including nights, weekends, holidays·Must perform pre-trip inspection on all power equipment used through InfoLink system.·Operate a sit-down forklift ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products.·Follow all driving rules and always be aware of the surroundings.·Report any equipment malfunction and accidents/incidents to a member of the management team.·Identify and source products from backstock locations utilizing electronic devices (tablets, cell phones and RF Scanners) to process the move transactions.·Rotate stock, following Location Base Inventory (LBI) process to ensure proper product rotation according to FEFO method.·Move the correct product from backstock locations to the Vertique Towers picking locations in a timely manner.·Communicate with Lead/Supervisor, warehouse pickers, and system operators via radio throughout shift about the assigned lanes status regarding product needs, empty pallets, and damages collection.·Identify needs and assist other areas when appropriate.·Collect and move empty pallets to the designated areas and sort and organize them by type.·Collect and move the damaged product to the recycling area.·Maintain clean equipment and work area. ·Use proper lifting techniques to avoid injuries and follow the BRC safety practices.·Make sound decisions and multitask simultaneously without constant supervision.·Adhere to the standard operating procedures and work instructions.·Required to follow the Good Manufacturing Program GMPs as listed in Code of Federal Regulations CFR 21 section . Requires participation in various Food Safety related training that Buffalo Rock utilizes. The Forklift Operator (Receiving) will be responsible for ensuring accurate receipt and shipment of products and dunnage and moving them to the appropriate locations in a timely and safe manner. The Operator will ensure the efficient flow of products within the Central Hub Distribution Center and will be able to cross-train and perform any job functions of other Forklift Operators’ positions.Essential functions·Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position. The Sanitation Technician will work closely with other team members to uphold the cleanliness of equipment and facilities to support the Vertique System’s overall efficiency and operational readiness at the Central Hub Distribution Center.Essential functions·Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.     weekends, holidays.·Keep work areas up to housekeeping and GMP standards, including inside/outside Central Hub Distribution Center areas.·Ensure all areas of the Vertique System are clean and free of debris, including the dock doors.·Complete daily Warehouse Master Cleaning Schedule as assigned by Sanitation Lead, for the Vertique System including but not limited to cleaning the palletizers, merge diverters, towers, wrappers, pallet chain, saw lanes, hand stacks, dog houses and docks doors to ensure minimal disruption of the process. Report to the Sanitation Lead when assigned tasks are completed for inspection.·Ensure that all products have been removed from areas before using any water hoses to perform cleaning.·Perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment and tools to ensure proper functionality and safety. Report any malfunctions or issues to the Sanitation Lead for prompt resolution.·Operate power washer equipment for washing different work areas.·Bale the cardboard and plastic waste using compactors.·Sweep and mop all assigned areas within the Hub in a timely fashion.·Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and solutions in accordance with manufacturer instructions and safety protocols. Maintain proper storage and labeling of chemicals to prevent accidents or contamination.·Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste materials generated during cleaning activities.
