Preferred Requirements Apply detailed theoretical knowledge of geotechnical engineering and project management principles. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and industry-standard software such as FREW, SLIDE, Settle 3D, and Plaxis. Possess a working knowledge of Eurocode 7 and UK annex design codes, ground investigation, and construction contracts and specifications. Contribute to new or original techniques in the design, showcasing your ability to identify and convert new business opportunities with existing and new clients. Present appropriate information in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing, while exhibiting strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused approach.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field. Be working towards Chartered status. Possess a post-graduate qualification in a related subject, which would be an advantage.

• Thrive in a dynamic, office-based role (minimum 3 days per week), collaborating closely with project managers and their teams to drive business development, manage key accounts, and ensure adherence to company procedures.
• Leverage your expertise in geology and geotechnical engineering to support the delivery of projects on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of service.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of our talented team, providing training and mentorship to junior staff.
Preferred Requirements: Confident and knowledgeable in various ground investigation techniques, contributing to technical proposals and scoping of contracts. Skilled in writing interpretative reports and providing expert advice to our clients. Adept at presenting technical information at local and regional meetings and conferences. Proficient in the use of borehole log software and data formats, such as AGS 3.1 and AGS 4. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Qualified to degree level in a geotechnical discipline, with a preference for a Masters degree. Membership of an appropriate professional body, with Chartered Status and RoGEP (or working towards it). Completion of relevant health and safety training schemes, such as CSCS (Manager level), SMSTS, and CDM 2007 Regulations.

Responsibilities
Excellent awareness of ground investigation specifications, procedures, techniques, British Standards, and codes of practice Ability to plan, supervise, and programme multiple Ground Investigation projects, including £1M+ sized projects Responsibility and accountability for the financial control and technical quality of projects from award to completion Development and maintenance of existing and new business in conjunction with the Operations Manager Training of new and existing staff in all matters of site investigation, in conjunction with the Operations Manager
Qualifications - 5/10 years of Project Management experience or similar. Ground Investigation experience of a minimum of 5 years. Degree qualified and working towards chartership.
Required Skills: Significant experience in geotechnical/geology engineering Strong project management skills with a proven track record Proficiency in geotechnical software and analysis tools Excellent report writing and presentation abilities Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to lead and motivate a team Exceptional communication and client management skills
