Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently recruiting experienced Fire Door Inspectors to work on projects across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out detailed inspections of fire doors within residential, commercial and public buildings, identifying defects and ensuring accurate records and reports are completed. Duties and Responsibilities: * Carry out thorough inspections of fire doors and associated frames, ironmongery and hardware. * Identify and record defects, damage and areas of non-compliance. * Check door leaves, frames, hinges, closers, intumescent seals, glazing and other components. * Verify certification, labels and relevant fire door specifications where applicable. * Take accurate photographs and record findings using digital inspection systems. * Complete detailed inspection reports and recommend any required remedial works. * Liaise professionally with clients, site teams and residents where required. * Maintain accurate records of all inspections completed. * Work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. * Follow all relevant health and safety procedures while working on site.
