We are the trusted partner for operators of essential services and provide end-to-end cyber security capabilities that help our clients overcome their security challenges, allowing them to operate safely and securely.   Bridewell holds the Gold level, Investors in People award which we feel solidifies and reflects on the outstanding calibre that makes us truly one team.    What are we looking for? As Bridewell continues to grow, we’re excited to be expanding our Finance team and are looking for a Management Accountant to join us at our Reading Head Office (3 days on site per week). The Management Accountant will oversee the payroll process and support on revenue accounting, invoicing and debtor escalations. This role requires a detail oriented and analytical individual who can work well with other departments across the business and can ensure processes are adhered to.  What you’ll be doing Payroll Management Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations for the UK and US. Collation of payroll changes from the system and other source to reporting these to the payroll bureaus in the UK and US. Reviewing and reconciling reports received from payroll bureau.  Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare related journal entries. Monitor payroll costs and provide variance analysis against budget. Coordination of annual payroll tax submissions including P11ds, P60s, PSA. Revenue Accounting Manage revenue recognition in line with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP). Prepare monthly revenue related balance sheet reconciliations Ensuring project are set up correctly for revenue recognition purposes Collaborate with delivery teams to validate revenue data and resolve discrepancies. Invoicing and cash collection Complete complex invoicing and support Junior accountant in ensuring all invoices are raised in a timely manner Working with sales team to ensure that all documentation (POs, contact information) are received promptly to allow billing Being first point of escalation for any aged accrued or billed items Compliance & Controls Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements. Maintain accurate documentation for payroll and revenue transactions. RequirementsWhat we’re looking for in you: Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) – part qualified. Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and financial reporting standards. Good Excel skills;  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence decision-making. Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong commercial awareness. Ability to be diplomatic and discrete BenefitsWhat’s in it for you?  Our vision is to create a safe, inclusive digital world where people and organisations can thrive. We are the trusted partner for operators of essential services and provide end-to-end cyber security capabilities that help our clients overcome their security challenges, allowing them to operate safely and securely.   Bridewell holds the Gold level, Investors in People award which we feel solidifies and reflects on the outstanding calibre that makes us truly one team.    Who are we looking for? This role requires someone who specializes in building and maintaining OT incident response capabilities across both SOC services and consulting engagements, working to enhance clients' OT security programs whilst developing internal expertise. RequirementsSelf-manage the development and maturity of our OT incident response service offerings, including technical documentation, playbooks, and response procedures tailored for ICS/OT environments. Build and implement OT incident response processes for SOC analysts, including triage procedures, investigation methods, and escalation paths for industrial control systems, occasionally serving as the escalation point.  Lead technical investigations into OT security incidents, providing expert guidance on containment and remediation while considering operational impact and safety.  Develop a team of OT incident responders, offering technical mentorship and ensuring consistent delivery across multiple client environments.  Support and guide customers in developing OT incident detection and response capabilities. Design and maintain OT‑specific incident response plans and playbooks aligned with industry standards and best practices.  Act as a thought leader in OT security through blogs, whitepapers, webinars, and speaking engagements.  Create and deliver OT cyber incident exercises and tabletop scenarios for technical and executive stakeholders using realistic threat intelligence.  Serve as senior incident coordinator during active OT incidents, managing communications and balancing security with operational continuity. You will need to have experience in:  Extensive experience with industrial control systems, SCADA, and OT networks, including understanding of common protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, etc.). Experience with common OT security tools such as Forescout, Nozomi and Claorty Relevant certifications such as GRID, GICSP, GREM, CSSA, or equivalent OT security qualifications. Experience in MSSP and/or OT security consulting roles, with demonstrated ability to build and develop service offerings. Strong background in incident response and crisis management within regulated CNI environments. Knowledge of frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NCSC CAF, NIS regulations, and the Purdue Model. Experience in leading technical teams and developing junior staff members. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various audiences through presentations, written content, and training materials. Background in developing and implementing SOC processes and procedures for OT security monitoring and incident response. This position requires travel to client locations, up to 50% of working time, with expenses.     You’ll be working across a variety of clients in a range of industries, whilst also working collaboratively with different teams across Bridewell. Your focus will be on supporting our customers on a range of security technologies; from reviewing, optimising and auditing existing deployments through to designing and implementing large new deployments.

    Specific tasks may include:

    • Helping to evaluate, recommend and implement cutting edge security technologies for clients within the cloud. • Securing deployments of AI tools such as SaaS AI (eg. M365 Copilot), agentic development and more bespoke AI applications in customer environments. • Designing and deploying identity and access management solutions for cloud identity providers. • Supporting and designing deployments of endpoint, email and identity protection technologies (XDR) for a cloud focused environment. • Supporting and designing deployments of cloud SIEM/SOAR technologies in enterprise environments. • Assessing and reviewing customer cloud security posture across multiple solutions and technologies. • Creating and maintaining technical project documentations such as technical configuration documents or low-level designs. • Liaise with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment of security strategies with business goals. • Presenting findings and recommendations to customer technical teams and technical decision makers. • Supporting the wider team in Bridewell, including our Managed Security Services team with customer-facing and internal tasks.

    What skills you’ll have:

    You need to have all the following:

    • Experience with Azure and Microsoft cloud services. • Experience with one or more of Microsoft Security products from the following list, and knowledge of the rest: o Microsoft Entra (Identity, Identity Protection, Identity Governance, Internet Access, Private Access) o Microsoft 365 Defender (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps) o Microsoft Sentinel o Microsoft Copilot for Security o Microsoft Intune o Microsoft Defender for Cloud • A passion for problem-solving, collaborative team working, and an excitement for creating innovative solutions. • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to managing multiple deadlines and priorities at any given time.
