Are you a skilled Experienced Mobile HGV Technician looking for a new role in Northampton. we have an opening for a DAFAID Technician who will be attending live roadside breakdowns, on site breakdown's defects, diagnostic work and general maintenance supporting the workshop.
The Successful Applicant must have :
Technical Qualification or proven experience of repairing and maintaining vehicles LCV / HGV Technical / Mechanical Engineer qualifications, 2 or 3 NVQ level, IMI Level or City & Guilds.
The ability to work remotely and under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
Ability to communicate effectively within your team and manage internal relationship to deliver required information in a timely clear manor.
All works must be accurate and consistent adhering to all processes and procedures.
Experience with Roadside breakdowns and on site.
Diagnostics and fault finding.
Driving Licence essential.
Shift Pattern and Out of Hours Call out (45 hours per week)
Dayshift : 07:00- 16:30 (Monday to Friday)
Early Shift: 06:00 - 15:30 (Monday to Friday)
Late Shift: 12:30 - 22:00 (Monday to Friday)
Weekend call out rota.
Pay
Up to £20 per hour depending on experience + Call Out Pay for out of hours. Overtime paid at x1.5 and Standby Pay .
