As Duty Manager, you’ll support the GM and Assistant Manager in running shifts and leading from the floor. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of service, standards and team support. You’ll: Lead shifts and take responsibility for the floor Support, coach and guide crew members Deliver excellent customer service at all times Handle end-of-night procedures and cashing up Step up confidently during busy services This role can develop further over time depending on business needs and performance. Key Result Area / Principal Duties & Responsibilities Create a supply plan that balances efficiency, stock freshness, stock levels and customer availability. This will be for Ellon production and repack at Eurocentral. Plan the finished goods for NPD and delists, to ensure new products launch on time, with all your own tasks to be completed on time and any risks flagged. For delists, minimise any write off of finished goods. Monitor and maintain the inventory levels of finished goods, with a portfolio of over SKUs. Review & develop finished goods inventory policies, making proposals for any changes. Communicate any potential shortages or over stocks to supply chain and sales teams. Coordinate with materials planning to ensure supply plans are achievable with materials plans. Provide any insights or changes required to master data based on any run rates, lot sizes, inventory rules, to the owner of master data. Interact with scheduling, packaging and brewing teams to agree on supply plans in line with inventory, service, obsolescence and efficiency targets – ensure all teams are aligned and understand the supply plan. Create supply strategies to deal with different types of products and to manage events (e.g. shutdowns, seasonal peaks). Identify long term strategic supply opportunities that create efficiencies and reduce cost within the supply chain and operations. Undertake a critical role within the weekly planning & production meetings, ensuring all timelines are kept to, and all detail on supply plan for raw materials into our various warehouses is fully prepared. Coordinate within the wider supply chain and production team to develop best practices and share knowledge. Perform Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement within the role, leading to reduced issues, and improved ways of working. Assist in the development and implementation on any supply planning tools or system improvements. Contribute to the S&OP cycle by undertaking analysis, or preparing content to present in the Supply Review. Key Relationships - Internal & External Key stakeholders are scheduling, materials planning, demand planning, packaging, brewing, procurement, maintenance and warehousing. Experience Demonstrable experience in a similar supply planning role, or similar, and preferably within an FMCG environment. Demonstrable experience using ERP systems, including SAP. Knowledge Understanding of supply planning processes, including inventory policies and planning strategies. Understanding of production & manufacturing processes and facilities. Understanding of supply and production planning systems would be desirable. Understanding of S&OP, and how supply planning contributes to this process.
