About You
Machining biased apprenticeship up to HNC/HND level in Mechanical/Production Engineering
Experience of 4 and 5 axis machining techniques and CNC Lathes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Project management experience
Whist we need a good team player, youll also be comfortable working on your own initiative
Excellent communication skills are required as youll be dealing with lots of other people in the business
About the role
The role of Production Engineer provides a support function to all areas of production
Your expertise will optimise and improve process capability and yield
Youll provide support with routings, programmes, tooling, fixtures and technical support
Youll provide support with BOMs, production orders and costings
For this role, youll need to be conversant with Solidworks, CAD, CAM and SAP
