About you:
Previous experience in a quality control role
Strong attention to detail with a naturally analytical mindset
Confident communicator who works well with suppliers and internal teams
Able to manage your own workload and see tasks through to completion
Flexible, proactive and happy working as part of a team
Full driving licence
Comfortable using Excel, Word and reporting tools
Textiles experience is helpful - but the right attitude matters more
About the role:
Completing technical checks and testing bulk production samples
Working with suppliers to approve goods and resolve quality issues
Recording quality data and keeping sample storage organised
Assessing bulk deliveries using an AQL framework
Updating the ERP system with accurate PO status
Carrying out in-house fabric testing (abrasion, strength, colour, chemical)
Arranging external testing with third-party labs
Managing and sharing test data with the wider team
Creating and maintaining the master samples library
Issuing standards and technical data to suppliers
Supporting stock investigations and assessing returned goods
Visiting customer sites when needed
Managing supplier approvals, priorities and backlogs
Communicating clear updates to internal teams
