This is a place where you can find a career with meaningful purpose—improving lives through your life’s work Working in our Rhythm Management division, you will be working daily in hospital Cath Labs or operating rooms supporting Health Care Professionals during procedures as well as engaging with clinical stakeholders to promote and train them on our products. You will work in a close partnership with the Account Managers and the commercial team, to effectively develop and implement the sales strategy for the territory and ensure that sales objectives are met in a precise and competent manner. This role is a 12-month contract, starting September 1st 2026, based in the UK, Yorkshire county, ideally Leeds or Sheffield area. Successful candidates may be retained by Boston Scientific at the end of the contract. Key Responsibilities
    1. Daily clinical support to customers during cases performed with Boston Scientific products and services

    Educating customers on optimal product and service use of Boston Scientific products Engaging customers from a clinical and technical perspective by having high level professional interactions Build long term strong relationships with customers Providing continuous education to hospital staff 2. Actively contribute to the agreed sales strategy in collaboration the field team (Account Managers, Clinical Sales reps, Marketing, etc.)

    Identifies opportunities to drive account growth through spending time with clinicians and asking questions to uncover needs and challenges (clinical value selling) Proactively builds knowledge of the market you operate in, the territory or region, and how it influence customers Builds and maintains insight into competitor products in own area of expertise, advising customers appropriately Contribute actively to the account planning with the account manager and account team Skills and competencies required Be a recent Bachelor or Master graduate (2025/2026) with a Biotechnical, Biomedical, Scientific Degree or Nursing qualification covering elements of the Heart/Cardiology Be fluent in and English, and other languages are an advantage Hold a current driving license Be willing to travel across the UK and be away for up to a week at a time. This is a place where you can find a career with meaningful purpose—improving lives through your life’s work. Location: on a remote working schedule, open to different cities across the country depending on the territory to cover. About the RoleThe Electrophysiology (EP) Field Clinical Specialist will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, Lab Staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of Boston Scientific Electrophysiology Product Portfolio, providing clinical case support for procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals.
    Your responsibilities will include:Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system/software development.Educates customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of EP devices by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep all abreast of the latest products and technological developments.Attend cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of EP systems and their components.Providing initial and continuous, as needed, training and feedback for development teams and sales representatives (as appropriate) on EP products, development processes, features, and procedures involving those products and features.Meets with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) by traveling (in an automobile or airplane) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.Develop relationships with hospital personnel (e.g. through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospitals and to identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales.Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.

About the role As an Account Manager (AM), you will take responsibility for managing the full end-to-end sales process for assigned customer segments. You will sit within the Interventional Cardiology division of BSC’s New Cardio business, managing a broad and sophisticated portfolio of interventional cardiology devices. Your responsibilities will include Support the development of the annual strategic plan by delivering detailed business intelligence to Regional Sales Manager, Business Unit Manager and Marketing, including market sizing and potential, market/product trends, business opportunities, competitive landscape, and stakeholder analysis. Design and implement sales strategies and action plans for your assigned accounts, tailored to meet defined sales targets and account needs. Develop and maintain stakeholder maps, define key touchpoints and execute engagement plans. Build and nurture relationships with both clinical customers and economic stakeholders, promoting value-based and health-economics arguments. Lead discussions with decision-makers to drive commercial programmes and solutions. Provide clinical support and education on safe, effective use of the portfolio. Coordinate training sessions and workshops, and represent BSC at third-party events, symposia, and congresses. Identify and follow up on sales opportunities arising from clinical interactions. Monitor upcoming tenders, gather intelligence and develop commercial deals, collaborating with the RSM, commercial colleagues and Tender Office to prepare necessary documentation. Proactively visit customers, engage in post-sale follow-ups to secure new agreements, and explore additional sales opportunities to foster future growth. Manage the capital equipment base within your accounts, including technical troubleshooting, sales of equipment and service contracts, and clinical support. Provide periodic updates, contribute to QBRs with RSMs, and use monitoring reports to support effective sales execution. Maintain accurate customer information and activity logs in the CRM system to ensure alignment with other commercial roles. Provide day-to-day account management, including handling product complaints, order queries, stock/inventory management, backorders, and quality issues where they arise. What are we looking for in you Successfully completed degree studies (or equivalent) within Biomedical Sciences or a healthcare subject is beneficial. Experience working with cardiology focused medical devices is highly beneficial. Proven commercial experience of medical device sales. Strong communication skills. Can understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details. Can rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace.
