Booking.com in London is looking for a Junior Proposition Design Manager for our FinTech business unit to help identify, define and design new financial services propositions. As a key member of the Propositions team you will be supporting the two Senior Proposition Design Managers to develop new financial services propositions across Travellers and Partners. This will involve supporting, and on occasion leading on propositions in development, as well as identifying new customer and market opportunities. You will work with a wide variety of teams to ensure value propositions are desirable to customers, commercially viable, technically feasible and compliant as they are delivered. In particular you will work closely with: Customer insight teams to conduct exploratory and evaluative research Commercial Strategy team to develop business cases and assess the market opportunity, delivery model and third party partnerships Product teams to ensure effective conceptual design and efficient transition into Delivery Marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies This is a new team, with a new remit, and as one of the team you will be part of helping to shape New Fintech Products for the business.  Your contribution: Strategy & Vision: Monitor and prepare reports on competitive movement and (adjacent) market developments Strategy & Vision: Help to identify opportunities for new products and opportunities to enhance our customer experience (for Travellers and partners) Definition: Conduct user, product and/or market research to inform proposition exploration and definition processes Definition: Support creation of business cases for new value propositions Definition: Validate and refine value propositions through end-user testing (qualitative and quantitative), in particular conduct co-creation with customers Proposition Design: Support and on occasion lead across the product lifecycle from defining long-term visions for propositions, defining the MVP, running experiments, launching pilots and reaching product market fit Proposition Design: Prepare and help to run key decision point workshops with cross functional teams using proposition design tools and techniques Proposition Design: Help to prepare key stakeholder presentations, communicating complex topics in a simple, structured way Delivery: Work with the Product Manager, Design and Tech teams during detailed design to document the proposition and to transition into delivery Collaboration: Help to collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure propositions developed are desired by customers and are commercially viable, technically feasible and regulatory compliant Project Management: Maintain and drive completion of key reports, reporting on metrics and progress updates Requirements: Four to six years of relevant experience  Experience of designing new financial services propositions, either in/with/for a traditional or non-traditional financial institution Experience using Design Thinking and other Proposition Design methodologies Strategic thinker, able to balance long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals Strong communication skills (verbal & written) Experience preparing and running workshops Ability to manage own tasks on multiple concurrent projects and manage associated prioritisation  Ability to conduct analysis on well defined problems Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with ambiguity Project management skills With this role, you will have Contributing to a high scale, sophisticated, world-class product and seeing real-time impact of your work on millions of travellers worldwide Working in a fast-paced and performance driven culture We aim to empower you to do your best work, whether in the office or at home, as well as 20 days per year to work from abroad with our Work from Abroad benefit* (subject to terms and conditions) Opportunity to utilise technical expertise, leadership capabilities and entrepreneurial spirit Promote and drive impactful and innovative engineering solutions Technical, behavioural and interpersonal competence advancement via on-the-job opportunities, experimental projects, hackathons, conferences and active community participation Need more flexibility in your work week?
