This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with some maintenance experience to join a highly successful company and learn lots of new skills. It will be a temporary role for 6 months to begin and will convert to permanent for the right person in 2027. The Facilities and Maintenance Technician will assist the team with the following: Carry out basic building repairs and general maintenance. Support routine inspections and testing, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and other safety equipment. Help complete logbooks, forms, and electronic records. Assist with the induction and supervision of external contractors. Respond to general helpdesk requests such as meeting room setups or moving furniture. Assist with small projects, including office/lab moves and refurbishments. The ideal candidate for the Facilities and Maintenance Technician will possess a positive attitude, good communication skills and a genuine interest undertaking hands on maintenance work and learning on-the-job.
