    Job Description
    Our client, a rapidly expanding national IFA brand has a have a fantastic opportunity for a Paraplanner to join their Dore Office.
    This is an integral and varied role and your experience in providing high quality support will be invaluable to the whole team. You will work closely with the Financial Planners by providing technical support in the process of servicing their Clients’ Financial Advice needs, instinctively providing excellent standards of client service, and conduct detailed research on clients’ existing and potential arrangements.
    After assessing these against the client’s financial objectives, you will produce timely and compliant Financial Planning Reports. The successful candidate will need to be motivated, friendly and professional at all times.
    Job Responsibilities
    The key duties of the role are:
    Writing Financial Planning Reports that our Planners present to clients.
    Supporting the Planners by conducting research on products and helping find the right solutions for our clients.
    Assisting with reviews and customer requests as well as acting as a point of contact for our clients to deal with day-to-day queries.
    Arranging for plans to be submitted to provider companies.
    Maintain client records on the company software and ensure the client and firm's files are well presented, accurate and compliant.
    Preparation of client review packs.
    Illustration requests.
    Keep up to date with financial products and legislation.
    Comply with all company and industry guidelines, rules and regulations.
    Due to the nature of the business, the role may also include additional responsibilities considered reasonable.


     


    RequirementsExperience in a Financial Advice firm and Paraplanner/ report writing skills is essential.
    Diploma qualified is desirable but consideration will be made for candidates who have the relevant skills and experience to do the job.
    A reliable individual who has the ability to manage and prioritise workloads.
    Outstanding communication skills at all levels.
    Ability to produce business correspondence, proof read for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy.
    Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Experience of working as part of a team.
    Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities are essential.
    Flexibility/ adaptability to cope with change.
    Confident with IT and office software packages Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

    Our client, a rapidly expanding national IFA brand has a have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Administrator to join our their Halesowen Office. This is an integral and varied role and your experience in providing high quality administrative support will be invaluable to the whole team. You will act as the point of contact for client queries with regards to pensions, investments and protection as well as liaising with product providers and covering all aspects within the general office administration to ensure a first-class service is provided to internal and external parties.


    Job Responsibilities

    This role forms a key part of the team and, as such, you will be involved in the day to day administration of Wealth Management, ensuring compliant and effective processes are followed and information is accurately processed and maintained. Your Duties will be varied and in line with the responsibilities involved in Financial Administration including, but not limited, to:
     

    Client correspondence, written and verbal.
    Processing New Business.
    Preparation of client review packs.
    Arranging client meetings and managing the Adviser’s diary.
    Illustration requests.
    Ensure that all financial planning client administration is carried out in accordance with the Firm's procedures.
    Maintain client records on the company software and ensure the client and firm's files are well presented, accurate and compliant.
    Taking phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them where appropriate.
    Back-office support.

     
    Due to the nature of the business, the role may also include additional responsibilities considered reasonable.

     


    Requirements
    Job Requirements

    You will already be experienced working in a Financial Planning firm, and will need to be motivated, friendly and professional at all times and able to hold conversations with third parties, representing the company in a professional manner.
    You will also be skilled in, or have the ability to learn:
     
    Good working knowledge of IO and Platform.
    Production of concise business correspondence and proofreading for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy.
    Confidence with IT and office software packages including Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel.
    Management and prioritising workloads.
    Excellent planning, organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
    Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Flexibility/adaptability to cope with change.
    Excellent communication skills at all levels.
    A team player with a positive attitude.
