This role is full-time, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

    Role Summary

    The Deputy Team Lead is responsible for managing the day to day running of the warehouse whilst working closely with the Warehouse Team Leader to ensure that the maximum efficiencies are reached for every shift. You'll support the Team Leader to ensure all the health and safety regarding the warehouse department is up to date and to ensure all operators are trained appropriately to allow them to competently undertake their duties.

    As the Warehouse Deputy Team Leader, your key responsibilities will be: Responsible for maintaining high standards for Health and Safety, Quality, housekeeping and continuous improvement of the warehouse.To assist the Team Leader with the responsibilities of the running of the warehouse.To ensure the handovers are accurate, liaising with production if there are any discrepancies in the data or any products that don’t meet quality standards.Actively encourage team members to freely report near misses and hazards around the site to make sure we keep employees safe.Make recommendations for improvements involving people and process.Keeping the immediate manager informed about activities, results and achievements.Ensure information about problems are clear, accurate and provided with appropriateurgency.Where there is a concern over the quality of work, the matter is discussed and addressed with the people concerned using the applicable policy/procedure.Takes responsibility for and keeps the Warehouse Team Leader informed of any potential or actual conflicts between people.Organising and coordinating cover (breaks, absence, holiday) in the warehouse to ensure the efficient, smooth and continuous running of the warehouse to keep up with the workflow.Your key skills and experience will include: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Basic people, management skills.Communication and Motivation – inclusive problem solving style.Understanding the line efficiency measures.Understanding of the process and day to day operation of the Warehouse.Have good time management skills with the ability to set priorities, fulfil critical tasks in time and keep to deadlines. Ability to work in fast-paced environments.If you do not have all key skills but still feel like you would be a good fit, please still apply and we will consider your application based on merit and experience.Benefits

    Role Summary

    We’re searching for a Multi Skilled Engineer (either with a mechanical or electrical bias) to join the team at our Bedworth site. At our Bedworth site we manufacture clay roof tiles.     As the Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will be: Delivering fast, effective electrical / mechanical fault finding by investigating the root cause and identifying and implementing preventative solutions.Ensuring all corrective maintenance actions are carried out constructively and accurately.Using appropriate SSWs and PTWs and observing relevant legislation.Ensuring all items of plant operate efficiently and safely through implementation of proactive planned maintenance that ensures all departmental KPI’s are met.Practising continuous improvement, innovation and pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions to problems encountered wherever possible.Effective liaison with the operations team leaders and other members of the management team.Assisting in the training and development of other technical personnel and enhancing own skills by participating in specific training courses/programmes.Complying with company policy on accident and near miss follow up reporting.Monitoring performance of equipment, reporting/rectifying faults, and running breakdowns including the use of electronic planned maintenance/recording systems.Assisting with the daily plant operations.Effective communication of breakdowns and repairs done; verbally & via shift reporting.Implementation of improvement initiatives for quality, productivity and waste reduction for all aspects of production and the plant itself.Your key skills and experience will include: NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.NVQ Level 3 qualified in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (desirable).Previous experience working as an engineer or technician and multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.Working knowledge of 5S Principles. Able to find fault on electrical/pneumatics systems.Must be a self-starter and able to balance the right culture working closely with production operatives/team leaders creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence.Exposure to a Roof tile manufacturing environment (desirable).If you do not have all key skills but still feel like you would be a good fit, please still apply and we will consider your application based on merit and experience.Benefits
