Individually great, together unstoppable The Role and the TeamThe Partnerships team at Blue Light Card builds and grows long-term relationships with our retail partners, from onboarding through to optimisation.We’re looking for a Senior Partner Manager to lead a team across core categories including electricals, home & garden, subscriptions and gifting. In this role, you’ll shape the direction of the categories, supporting the team to grow partner relationships and deliver strong commercial outcomes while using data, insight and market awareness to guide your strategy and identify new opportunities for our members. You’ll also collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure our partnerships approach continues to evolve.This role will play an important part in shaping the future of our partnerships strategy and growing some of our most important retail categories.What You’ll Do • Lead and develop a team of Partner and Key Partner Managers, providing coaching, guidance and support to help them grow their partner portfolios and deliver strong commercial outcomes• Shape and evolve the category strategy for electricals, home & garden, subscriptions and gifting, identifying opportunities to strengthen the partner proposition and drive long-term growth• Work closely with the Head of Partnerships and Commercial Director to develop and execute an omni-channel strategy, expanding the current online offering to include in-store opportunities and integrated retailer activations• Support the team in developing strategic plans for key partners, including delivering retail media strategies, bringing new initiatives to market, and using performance reporting and data analysis to optimise results and unlock new commercial opportunities.• Own senior-level commercial discussions and negotiations with partners where appropriate, ensuring mutually beneficial and member-first outcomes• Identify and secure new partner opportunities that strengthen the category offering and enhance the value available to members• Use data, consumer insight and performance metrics to guide decision-making, identify growth opportunities and optimise partner performance across the category• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, CRM, Product and Finance to deliver joined-up partner strategies and high-impact campaigns• Oversee forecasting, performance reporting and sales pipeline visibility across the category, ensuring targets for revenue, acquisition and conversion are achievedWhat You’ll Bring • Strong experience in partnership or account management within a retail, marketplace, ecommerce, affiliate or tech environment• Experience managing and mentoring team members, with the ability to support development and build a high-performing, collaborative team culture• Strong commercial judgement, with confidence leading negotiations and shaping mutually beneficial partnership agreements• A strategic and progressive mindset, comfortable challenging the status quo and identifying new ways to strengthen partner performance and category growth• High data literacy, comfortable using insights and performance metrics to guide strategy, influence direction and uncover new opportunities• A strong understanding of digital marketing, advertising or retail media environments, and how these can support partner growth and commercial outcomes• Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior internal and external stakeholdersOur CultureOur mission is simple – make heroes happy.     While your main focus will be SEO, there’s also real scope to expand into App Store Optimisation (ASO) and apply and develop your expertise across wider growth channels.Our Growth team is one of the newest at Blue Light Card, using insight and innovation to maximise member acquisition and engagement.
